Thanks mate, yeah I was pretty annoyed to be down by 7 at half time. but like you said a quick foul out to your big man and my boys ran away with it in the 3rd quarter.

I look forward to the ABBL, this is what we play for afterall.

MVP and II.3 champion, this has been the highlight of my BB career for sure.

best of luck with your ABBL relegator! hopefully it's someone quiet.

Thanks a lot Yoda,

There's a lot of people I would thank and give some credit to for this achievement.
Dire, Iwen, yourself Yoda, from the beginning you guys were always great to bounce ideas off regarding training, buying/selling players, arena, and tactics.
more recently, Coach Regan - probably has been the most helpful manager in our community, most of his forum posts are extremely informative and easy to read and understand.

Bainsynator (for showing me what not to do), I guess I should also thank Zyler for almost running my team into the ground in the first 1.5 seasons of my career.

Really excited to have made the abbl and I just hope I can stay there now.

good lord - i find this impossible.
but thanks all the same - and congrats also! A bit more of a traditional promotion to ABBL - made the move early on in the season and stuck to it, brought in staff and tactics when needed and keep quiet in the forums at the right times also! haha

a valuable skill that.

so well done.

when is draft coming out?

Is anyone drafting? Ive done my trick that i did last year - no scouting points - randomly mess up all the order - see if i can pick up an MVP potential guy again :)

About to do a season summary. then we can start season 25 thread. no wait season 26!

exciting.

So Ants wins it all and statistically, there is no question as to why.

Mr Archers team led the league in quite a few stats, opposition FG% was one of them, assists (and opposition assists), team efficiency, opposition efficiency, rebounds, opposition rebounds, blocks, and for most of the season - salary. :)

Buzzer-manager has Gary Howorth and Siggy as the top 2 players in terms of average rating in league and Siggy was third in efficiency - hence the MVP.

Other Interesting Stats - The Individual Steals leader was from NSW Breakers - NSW Breakers also led the league in FT% - something to be said about bot-assigned players perhaps?

Dunno if this is a mistake or not, but only 14 players qualified to fit into the top 20 of 3pt% stats on Buzzer-manager.

Of all the categories on that site, Ants had players appear in the top 20, 15 times.... Myself and From_way_downtown had 14 appearances in the top 20. Slam ! and the Mighty Oaks only had 5, whilst demotee Lakes Entrance had 11 - thus proving that a good team statistically doesn't mean success. Although in Ants case, it does.

Individually, Siggy and Su Huawei appeared 5 times in the top 20, whilst numerous other players appeared 4 times.

So thats that - next season who knows, it will be Whitebeard appearing a billion times in every statistical category, with a point difference of 5 billion, the buzzerbeater engine with break from the amount of thrashing he will give us.

bring on next season i say.

Very interesting even for someone not from your league. I think whichever relegator you get it will be bad next season.

Grats Ranga and well deserved mate! I wouldn't bother with draft lol, the worst I've seen since starting. Found 0 potential 5 guys and only 2 potential 4 guys with ordinary starting rating. Disappointed at my own season, due to not having the time mostly, hell I was looking to buy players for ages but nothing really came up to my liking. Then a few weeks of inactivity more or less due to way to much work had put the nail in the season. Well at least I made a shit load of cash and will look forward to see'ing Div II in 2 seasons time(damn well hopes so). Merry xmas to all and happy new year.

Oh and I scouted all the players and interviewed all 18 year olds so there is no hidden gems. Apoligies for my inactivity guys as it's not usually the case.

.

Dont know that the relegators should as much of a concern for everyone as is being made out.

My primary focus will be the training of my 3 trainees so based on that I shouldnt be a threat to anyone.

It would not be the worst scenario for my mob to spend an extra season in Div 2, as I plan to do single position training for both of the next 2 seasons, before getting really serious and going for glory in the ABBL

I might even sell several players and coast through the season after getting some early wins as ideally I dont want to eat into my stash to promote

CCat seems to have lost all interest and I assume will either focus on training or will go bot.

Whitebeard is an elite Manager one of the best 3 or 4 of all time, but I reckon he might focus on training.

Ezlife ran with high players salaries for most of the season and although he sold a few players for overs, I doubt that he would be able to challenge.
