Just to throw something else into the Big 8 demotion discussion, i might tank as well. With my aging team and not enough money to buy anyone in the current economy, i might just buy a trainee or 2.

Not really. Up till this season i didn't invest at all because i always had a bad draft position. Started this season when i realised i might have to bottom out at some point. How many points do you usually need to give the draft a thorough scout anyway?
