Last season we had a case of a very self-destructive team going for broke in one of the most creative ways last season, buying every low priced player he could. In the crazy run on the biggest roster record, he accumulated more than one and a half thousand (1757, to be exact!) poor souls before going bankrupt due to the enormous financial strain their salaries have put on him. Seeing this, the BB commissioner has decided to limit the maximum number of players in a roster to 30

A roster limit was asked for many seasons ago. Had the BBs introduced one then this situation wouldn't have arisen. I'm hardly going to congratulate someone for closing the stable door once the horse has bolted.

The draft is a useful source of some quality players, but to be fair, most of them end up being fired, mostly because of their low skills and potential. The commissioner has decided to fix this by hiring better scouts that will ensure that the next generation of draftees has better skills and potential, especially in the low-to-middle range. As for future draft development, some other changes that will add value to the draft as a whole are in the works, so start investing in those draft points!

Two things. First the better quality draft players. Again, asked for many times and ignored till now. Second, the late hint about the future. Since its vague to the point of being meaningless what's the point of breaking the BB rule about revealing things in advance just to say that?

BB is a complex game, which means that new users can sometimes be initially overwhelmed. In order to ease their first steps in the game, we are working on a new beginners checklist/interactive tutorial

Don't know what this involves as I haven't asked any newbie but it looks like a good idea.

I think the major changes announced here are terrible. I'm not alone. The boycott is a waste of time, and the promotion changes are going to wreck the game.

I believe the BBs are attempting to change the entire nature of BB. They want upward and downward mobility, and are attempting to do that by reducing our ability to create/buy good players (expense of secondaries, removal of free agents, inflation etc) so that teams are closer together in ability, and by making promotion and relegation easier. If this is their intent they should have the balls to say so.

When they've succeeded in this and our teams are closer together in ability, luck will be the decisive factor in who wins Championships, not ability or game knowledge, as the vagaries of the schedule will become more important, as will game day predictions, and of course injuries.

I did write that I bit to his "positive contributions in the thread", didn't I (in the other thread)? But yeah I don't feel particularly great when I can't explain simple things to what should be normal people and when I react to arrogant or provocative behaviour by stepping down to that level myself. I know I'm prone to this kind of mistake, you don't have to rub it in.

What's also sad is that my attempt to get back on topic was ignored and you instead chose to rehash something Lemonshine attempted to put an end to. Still, its easier than actually commenting on something constructive.

It's a bit sad because personal chemistry between users and staff

By saying users and staff, you imply that the users are the ones at fault. I'd say its sad that the casual contempt staff have for users is the cause of poor chemistry.

The BBs policy needs to change. They absolutely need to start communicating otherwise

Maybe you (and some others) should too...

In Swedish it wouldn't imply the same? And I didn't twist anything, I used your exact words. Still not exactly on topic and still no replies to any of my earlier constructive posts from any staff member, despite what I felt was a very reasonable request.

As such, I now feel I have to take a break from Global. I won't respond to any more replies, on topic or off, from any staff member. Whether this lasts five minutes, two days, four (See you next wednesday!) 1000 years or until the universe dies a very cold death we'll have to see.

Then I apologise for my misunderstanding.
