I haven't looked at the draft. But then I don't pay for points so no point looking unless i want some random favorite numbers up the top.

Dude you have the second last pick..why would you waste all your points on this seasons draft?

Yeah I found the 5/5, not much else going on although I haven't interviewed the 4s yet.

Hopefully he's a HoF or above
but can't complain, even an MVP is good

Because I have had my scouting set at $20,000 a week since season 10 and haven't spent any for a while so had enough to scout every player this season and several in the future! I like drafting and was hoping with so few people spending that I may sneak a good late pick like Koop did when he got the superstar. Instead I am headed for another 5/3 star or allstar potential player.

That good late pick is not that good compared to the rookie akuma will get. (27605651). But its a steal alright, especially for a 30th pick.

$20k a week since season 10 aye? That kind of investment could've been spent on an ABBL championship campaign. =P

$20000 x 14 weeks x 12 seasons = ~$3.3mil in cold hard cash.

True but I also got some great sales from that investment. Rookies Hasmawi Mahmood sold for $1.5 million, Peni Lucas for $1 million, Kent Masters after some training for $1 million and several more so not that bad really.

wow koopy... that's a pretty big purchase you've just made.
I was going to make comment about all the ridiculous salary rosters, but i've just checked mine and it's not cheap either ;)

Thats a pre-emptive move to try to avoid you in a relegation series battle. But yeah $1.2 million in salaries is outrageous.

Are you going to buy a few more players? =p

Ooooh thanks, I'm sure it will be tough whomever i shall face in relegation finals, but I don't think I'd want to see the scores against your team.. Happy for you to stay in the top 4 and beat WB tomorrow ;)

Am I going to buy more players?
I could buy several,, but then financial stamina would become a problem.
I'm thinking of buying a better starting SF.
If you know of any worthy candidates, let me know :-D

There are heaps around the 1.5mil range. Just do a search for minimum OD and ID of sensational.
But for 1.5mil you can buy two aussie NT PF/C's these days. The only problem is sustaining their salaries LOL

You have no idea how much I want to beat WB. Every season since I've entered the ABBL my fan survey has seen a half a ball or one ball in "The team played well in our last game against Whitebeard, our hated rival".

And to compound the rivalry, its our second TV game this season against each other. Guess who gets the short end of the stick? "sigh"

Don't be fooled by Koops. He has the easiest run home out of the teams finishing 6th in the Great 8 even prior to his buying up of Duffman since there's plenty of cheaper big men in the market which he could use to fend off the remaining teams. Deep down he's gunning for the ABBL. ;p
