I feel like me, hrudey, and TicTacShack are all looking for the same players. I was going to buy both Michael Johnson and Lindsey, but didnt because I don't want either of them to know what I'm buying. Needless to say, I may change my focus of my team to counter what they are doing.

Until I got Schultz, I was going to make a hard push for Lindsay. Johnson's salary put me off somewhat and there may have been another reason too, but I don't remember his skill breakdown well enough for that. The good news for me is that Kinney (and Lindsay, had I gotten him) were guys that I could get and run for a season or two, but Schultz is a nice long-term running mate to stick beside Yi for a longer term. I definitely hope my season ticket holders and fan mood trend up next season, since as it stands once I get my salary bumps and replace my offseason minimal doctor and PR rep, I'll be pushing it to break even week to week, at least other than the Cup.

Well, I'm happy with Johnson. I will probably offload the Finnish guy as they are comparable salary-wise.. I set up this off season to make sure I had a competitive team and am using this extra time to try and get more American. Lindsey may have been a mistake. I was indenting him to replace the Polish PG I had aquired, but he's more than double the salary. The real key is to not over pay for players. Also, since smallfries, hrudey, and I seem to be the ones trying to run outside offenses, we tend to look for similar players. It doesn't help that we try for Americans as much as possible.

The last foreign player that I bought was a 1k scrimmage rental on an emergency basis in March 2012. My last foreign player at all was sold in August 2012, but he was one of my original trainees. I suppose it was time to make the moves though, since I had actually spent more money renovating my arena than in the transfer market for my BB career again until these purchases.

Yea I tend to prefer American but couldn't find the skillset I wanted. The foreign guard I just bought though is a beast and I couldn't help but purchase him at the price I got him at. Felt like I was walking into a store and the clerk said "come on in, everything is 50% off." Don't mind if I do. What a bargain!

And Isaiah, your payroll is way north of $600K. These are all interesting moves:-)

A very well played season, playoff's and finals game to Delta 9. Congrat's on the big win and best of luck in the Big Leagues. Very well deserved. Now if I could just understand why my super center spent 2 of the last 3 minutes on the bench, and then attempted 2 three pointers in the final minute.

Congratulations to Delta for a great season and the title. Good luck next season in the NBBA! And a shoutout to calfson too as the Fighting Kelts never gave up, quite a series!

Indeed, a hearty "Get the hell out!" to Dmitri and his excellent team. It wasn't easy, and the last minutes were pretty captivating, but it's a credit to both guys for running teams that are worthy of moving up and unfortunately only one could go.

Also, I'd just like to point out that all of you bastardos are buying players you can't afford at precisely the wrong time. The right time to buy those types of players is when I'm no longer in the league. It's keen economic insights like this that have made my team arguably the best team named after a former Pacer in all of II.4.

Remember, if your going to go with high salary players and make a push to advance, get a good doctor. Very few things are more frustrating than seeing 200k or 300k worth of salary sitting on the bench injured.

Above world-renowned (for doctors) they should have another level: James Andrews. He probably wouldn't be cheap but would not only prevent all injuries, players would be immune to the flu, common cold, and having their feelings hurt by loud-mouthed fans.

If you are looking at employing James Andrews, it is already too late
