I am out of the cup in goal united :( down 3-1 against a div 3 side.... at least my boys showed some fight and didnt concede in the 2nd half!

i luv the card system! i was watching live and was able to play an encourage card b4 half time.. that is not a bad idea for these types of games, giving managers on line at time of action the opportunity to interact, even if it is minimal.. i understand it is not possible with BB as the game is simmed prior to us being able to watch it.

well i went 1-0 up, then 1-2 down, then lead 3-2 at HT... 3-3 at FT, then 3-4 down after first half of ET, equalised in the 119th minute. lost 6-7 on penalties.

i still have no idea what i am doing over there.. i can transfer players, but am yet to indulge :D

Boys, don't they have a forum on your soccer game? Not really interested in your results on there.

To change the view point, ASW.. Getting closer to ASW, anyone have predictions as to players at this stage for B8 and G8?

down to business. i have work off tonight so i shall travel to the Blaze arena to watch my boys struggle against the superior Blaze lineup. or maybe we will see what the Blaze are actually made of. should be good.

Ha, I think you and I will have a very close one Bains, my lineup is no longer the strength it was last season either so we should be fairly similar.

I will try and get the missus amused elsewhere and hop on for a bit.

Stazza you can fix all your issues right away. You can go a little into debt as long as it is short term.

1) Buy a level 4 trainer. Don't think about it do it. There are at least a dozen for sale today with less than $20,000 a week salary.

2) Start training properly. I think you should do one position training at PG. Give each player 48 minutes at PG in 1 game per week and then they play backup SG or SF in 1 more game. Try to get each of them a pop in OD and PA.

3) Cut the crap.
You have a lot of piss poor players. Sell them and just keep the good ones. These guys are ok.

lol, no chance big fella, whilst I culled the roster a bit this season I am still wanting the wins, therefore strategy has changed a bit and if I can keep myself up the top of the red at the end of the season I just may splash a bit of money! Having said that I won't be buying any quick fixes like last time round, if I buy it will be a decimating machine that will become a core piece of my hopeful div II team.. Still only a thought at the moment so don't stress too much Neeber, same time don't get too comfortable.

BTW Neebs I am your competition but I am an ok bloke, thought it a mad statement when you closed out chat as I entered...

haha after looking at the stats the game was relatively even. i know you had 2 injuries and it looked as if it was one sided. all the stats except fouls/free throws were close. the fouls and free-throws ultimately decided the game. that being said you had 2 injuries

I didn't even see you come in mate because I wasn't focusing on that window as I was on the way out of the house at that time!! I do want to reply to your pm but I just haven't had the time to do it as of yet but it will be coming!!
