Holy shit. I have met Prominent High reb...and I got bent over a barrel by that rebounding. I did not think i was that bad at rebounding.

wow, Bullish city is in shock from your lackluster performance! people bet their homes on you winning by more than 19. and that prediction was based on me using more effort than you too... not you going all in! this is like a middle school team losing by 1 point to the original dream team, when the dream team tries. This completely tarnishes your season!!! (even if you go undefeated and win the title, the season is a failure)

really though, through 3 quarters my best player had 2 rebounds & best shooter was 1-10. can't win a game like that.
saw you injured my center too... i'm guessing that was intentional, since he was on my team the last time we played.

Shhh, don't tell people we both CT'd each other by accident. My finger slipped on the effort, I swear!

I like how your PD is only 25 lower than mine despite 5 fewer wins. I really have been pulling through by the skin of my teeth. Also I wouldn't advertise your recent success, you don't want any extra attention. Actually what am I saying, Silverbacks are #1, everyone go Normal him!

Haha I'm not so sure I'm anything to worry about considering that you're still undefeated and just beat the, arguably, best team in the Great 8, on the road ... whereas I have a losing record at home. Clearly, everyone needs to start throwing CTs your way to have a chance

You know, I think the USA offsite is a pretty sweet tool. The Advanced Stats are nice to look at, but sometimes you seriously question if it's remotely accurate.

In our game the Offsite Advanced Stats said you had 91 possessions. Except you had 92 field goal attempts. Add in your trips to the free throw line and the turnovers which didn't result in a field goal attempt and I think you get a lot more than just 91 possessions. I went to the offsite to check out some of the more obscure stats to try and glean how I managed to pull out the win despite your complete dominance on the boards. I mean, I only had 6 more defensive rebounds than you did offensive rebounds. But after seeing it say you only had 4 more possessions than I did, I kind of just closed the window and decided that game didn't load right or something.

Oh, I'm stupid. Whatever, the coffee machine is broken at work...that's my excuse...yeah.

It's subtracting the o-boards from the FGA, since theoretically it's just a continued possession. So that's how he got fewer possessions than FGA.

i've actually never even looked at any of that before. the only thing i've seen was the match predictor. (or whatever it's called.)

IMO, the key to the game was your SF going 10-12 & hitting 2 3s. (i mean he only had 2 made 3s all season)
plus nothing was falling for me. even when my center got injured, the coach's replacement promptly misses both FTs, lol.
my top players were really bad too... like through 3 quarters Alas had all of 2 rebounds & my best shooter was 1-10. late in the game he couldn't even hit a 3 pointer guarded by your PF. (& he's leading the league in 3pt%)

i'm just glad i didn't find out after the game you used less effort, or have my center remain injured.

i get the feeling that if the game were re-run 100 times... you'd win about half the time in various ways. some games you'd rebound much better than you did, some games you'd take a ton of FTs, some games you'd be in serious foul trouble, some games i'd shoot a much better % than i did, etc...
so rather than having it play out more or less the same way it did every time... you'd have a bunch of very different games.

like, look at these 2 games that were only 7 days apart:
(39452733)
(42578073)

Both have the same team at home & equal effort. In the first game Walker Wiggles defeated LMA in a close game. So, what happens in the rematch 1 week later? WW goes on to lose at home by 23 points to LMA!!! That's an insane swing from 1 game to the other.

That's why the NBA has 7 game series in the playoffs, and doesn't leave things up to the randomness of an individual game. Unlike here, where it''s more of an NCAA tournament "anything can happen" type of thing.
