But do you think i should develeop his inside skills in his first season?

Since he is tall, the first guy would train normally with inside skills, while the second guy would train slowly, due to his height.

I want to turn first one into an u-21 sf because he has already have decent inside skills and he is higher than your regular guard.

What are your thoughts?

The first guy would need 1v1 Guards training for HA/DR, and also needs training in PA. Don't forget that since you want him to be a U21 SF, he also needs lots of training in ID. Even if you got all these up to acceptable levels, it would probably leave you with less time to train other skills. He can still be a nice player for your team, as long as you patch up his holes.

If i were to chose skills that are important i would train OD and PA. But HA also is important. It helps him get of better shots.

That piqued my interest...I was under the impression that higher HA skill really only limits the turnovers a player makes. It would make complete sense if higher HA led to higher quality shots (because you can cross over/get free from your defender), but I thought DR was the primary skill that leads a player to be a so-called "shot-creator".

Am I under the wrong impression?

This is my only trainee right now, but I'll be buying a few more soon. I think I'll make him into a combo guard along w/ another trainee so that I can switch them around if I need to for defensive or offensive purposes. Here's his skills

For me his defense is definitely most important but after that I'm unsure. I'm thinking of getting him good jumpshot for playing SG and good passing so he play PG as well. Any thoughts?

He looks like he could be quite handy.

I think you are definitely right, defense first Pressure PG (9,10) this will take you about 8 - 10 weeks (you could also get pops in HA, DR, ID as well) then one on one him (forwards if you can, which you should be able to in Div V) till seasons end.

His passing will do you ok in Div V, you could work on this if you want, or leave it till early next season where it might train faster due to elastic effect since the other skills will be higher and will help it get up to speed, it will also keep salary down if you wait.

He could do with a bit of stamina training as well.
