Maybe you should care about the loss to GC away and freo @ the MCG because if you won those 2 games you would now be sitting in 9th with games to come against an inept Essendon this weekend (although you may find a way to lose that too) and then Port the last round. With freo probably losing to North this weekend winning those two would have had you in the 8 for finals.

But then again you don't care about those 2 games apparently....

Gotta hope the Swans beat the Hawks, or failing that, that the Cats beat the Swans next round. If either of those things happen, and we win our two games - and god, we should, against Melbourne and the Gold Coast - then we still get top two.

Also, no way does Cotchin win the Brownlow. You can't win it being a very good player in an average team. Sorry mate.

Swan could be in trouble from Beams and Pendlebury stealing his votes - Beams has been super impressive of late. Dangerfield will steal a few votes from Thompson. Ablett will lose votes to the fact that his team sucks. It'll be an interesting count, that's for sure - probably the most even one I can remember for a while.

I don't buy the theory that too many good players in a team steal votes from each other...

2007 - Bartel won it, with plenty of players capable of stealing votes.
2009 - Ablett won it, same as above.
2011 - Swan won it, same again.

You could also make the same claim for Judd's Brownlow wins as well.

I do agree that it's very difficult to win it while playing in a bad team, something that will definitely count against Ablett this season.

He is a very good player but in a shit team with 2 wins as aposed to richmond who now have 10, and will probs make it 11 against port. 2 wins to 11 wins, whats wrong with you man>????????

those games were ages ago! so stop goin on bout em. only really shit teams keep whining when they lose to shit taems.
After a pretty convincing win over bombers tonight, then I would say we would defs beat port. so that makes it 11 wins for the season, thats 3 more than last season! We are slowly but surley getting better!
Richmond are clearly over those shocking loses, but u are not!
And stop goin on about what could have been and focus on whats hapenin now mate!

What's happening now is you beat an essendon side on its last legs (that's not your fault but hardly anything to get too excited about) and you once again won't be playing finals. Sounds pretty damn exciting to me focusing on the present!!!! :-p

Anyway we know your a passionate tigers supporter Lazz come finals who do you like for the premiership?? Any team you follow after Richmond or that you have a soft spot for when they don't play the tigers?

Usually I don't buy it too much either, but both Beams and Pendles have had multiple BOG games where Swan can't possibly get BOG. What will be important is if he can poll 2 votes in those games - if he can, he should win, if he gets one or none, he'll struggle.
