hmm, for some reason i had it in my head that you only get a relegated team every other season. seems to me now that it's a bit more random than that

Unless I'm missing something, four teams from each league relegate. There's 4 division II leagues. Therefore 16 relegated teams, one for each third division league. Am I missing something?

My fans rate the team's performance this season as 2 Balls. I finished .500. What were they expecting? I guess they'd be much happier if I was beating the tar out of everybody in the fourth division, and they'll be glad to know The Plan is in place for just that eventuality, and to do it on a budget.
And since we were speaking of nightmarish scenarios for next season, remember the promoted teams are going to get more prize money. Don't recall how much, but half a million would have made a big difference for me.

Damn, Baker Street, is Helder Basto actually Steph Curry in disguise. Look at those amazing stats, 2000 is a bargain for him. I'm thinking of buying him so he could carry my team next season

You paid two grand for him? What, were they out of bridges in Brooklyn to buy? You could have invested that money in Enron, for god's sake. Or an emu farm.

I paid $1,000 for my 40 year old K. Dutt. Very proud of my purchase. He keeps the benches warm when the starters need a break. Or during practice scrimmages, he makes my starters look like gods. Integral part of the team, I could never let him go.

Awesome at what, exactly? At using up money that otherwise would be used for drugs?

I just noticed my unconventional lineup might have worked -- except my starting point guard, whose actually the backup, fouled it in 20 minutes. His backup earned a 6.5 rating. And his backup (the backup's backup backup) got a 5.0, and -- see if you can get your around this, because I can't -- played 6 minutes, got a rating of 5.0, had absolutely no statistics, and earned a team best +10 plus/minus. Someone please explain to me how this can possibly make any sense. If I'd had started him, would I have won by 50?
