Direwolf is happily tanking games to win the cup.

No team comes close to his starting 5.

Have not had much time for the forums lately as I'm focused on many other things, but must say the following...

Market is crazy (buying or selling.)

@Fishy; Learvins is (i believe) just trying to get 5th or at least trying to beat our 7th best team, even though I believe he is over spending. That win however, was brilliant. Keep up the great job!

The comp this season is indeed very interesting for the lower placed teams. Spend too much and not survive, it's gonna hurt. Something I hope to avoid, however, I may not.

@go aussie; looks like you are good enough to take out 5th and should make heaps of cash. Don't know why you were planning on selling up do early. Good thing is, you didn't straight away and that has helped ypu. I'd be worried if I were in your conf next season.

ASW - Surprised seeing my PF make the bench after 3 matches.

I do believe that the big 8 will take it out with Xie and Vulcan being the difference despite the bench being not as strong.
178 - 165 is my prediction.

P.S. I am normally bad at predicting sim matches :)

nice, i got 3 starters and a guy on the Bench for the ASG! surprising that Fishy only has Xie representing them even though he has the best record in our conference!

if you move your players around on the court you generally miss out, i had 3 guys 3rd in the votes, no starters in my first season up.

On a brighter note might sneak in to playoffs.

The people have spoken and the people have demanded their representatives so in the all star game will be comrades in arms Isay Molostov and Andrey Voevodin ready to defeat the wicked capitalists of the Great 8.

The people are also not impressed by Learvins blatant capitalism. I wish he had done it a week later.

best record in all of d2 & still just 1 all star ;(

still doesnt really matter xie is the only 1 that really deserves it

but i do wonder how we got Andrey Voevodin a 50k C as our sf instead of Telmo Santos a 120k sf

Because he is not a corrupt capitalist but instead a loyal comrade and party member.

Second Team:
The Perth Players
I have decided, after considering my current position and performance this season, to start an ambitious project to train a complete starting 5 for my team, first up is pg and sg, I may get lucky and get a potential sf out of this. Has anyone ever done this before? I decided to undertake this as over the seasons I have trained players for all postions but not held onto them to form a team so I want to acheive this now. This means that I don't expect to make the playoffs for this season or next, I'll probably have to fight to stay in the league next season too. Another reason I've decided to do this is I've notice a significant drop in merchandise revenue probably due to the sale of 2 of my long held starters and stars. So I want to create a new generation.

To be honest...
It's very ambitious. To make an effective div II starting PG and SG, you'd have to train them to 23 or around there.
Then get in Centres and PF trainees til they're 23, by which time the PG and SG will be 28. They won't be complete players and probably not even good unless you find perfect trainees.
So you'd have 2 28 yo guards, playing with 23-4 yo centres and then I guess you're hoping to get your SF by training one guy with the guards and centres.
I'm just saying my opinion, but training hardly ever gos as planned and to stick to that for such a long time would be so boring and in the end wouldn't be all that effective.
