Dude, I went undefeated Season 5 while in IV, my first full season after taking over my team in Season 4 with less than 11 games left and slipping into the playoffs.

Got promoted to Season III where my team was severely undertalented compared to the rest of the league and yet with persistence, determination, and a desire to not fall to the 15 underlings beneath my Greatness, I manage to make the playoffs every season. I study the league and the great teams of BuzzerBeater. While I may not exactly be a GOAT like my team name suggests, I enjoy the challenge of competing against the upper echelons of this league.

I've been here since Season 6 and have managed to build a few rivalries worth noting, in particular the WEAKLING that is known around these here parts as The Illusion. ;-)

It takes time and you have to be willing to go through the struggles. Just don't expect to come in here and be successful. You have to keep an open mind because most of us have been here a long time so we are expected to have the money and the resources to field a more competitive team. It's going to take dedication to learning this game and learning your team this deep into BuzzerBeater's life to field a team that can not only compete at II and maybe NBBA but also at III.

You guys need to stop trying to talk him out of failure.

He's clearly undertalented. Clearly, an underachieving manager and has no chance of survival. His best bet is to sell off all of his top players and spend this season by purchasing a bunch of 18 year olds and doing team training. That way, he can drop down to division 4 again and be ready to stomp all over it.

My first season in this group was tough. My team was not talented enough to face this division but I stick with the plan and by the second leg my team started performing better and ended in the 5th spot.

So, yes it tough but not impossible. you just have to figure out what to do in a short and long term to make your team competitive.

Do players have some sort of hidden skill, because i was thinking that there should be a hidden strength level for each player that would make then play better against a weaker player and vice versa. Maybe they already have this, but i think it would be a good idea to go along with a hidden creativity skill that was recomended for a dunk contest last season.

Would that mean less touch on a jump shot?

There is a hidden physical skill, and the BB won't really comment on it, or exactly what it does, but the most telling factor of whether a player has a high physical skill is fouls.

I agree w X. That guy should sell off a guy or two and train and hope for a great draft.

Rather than an unknown or hidden variable, I still think this is more of a factor of Stamina. But I also think it is likely the combination of the player's OD/ID, Stamna and Game Shape versus their opponent (on a matchup by matchup basis).

Love the name change!

Season 12 tips off in just over 2 days!

No more divine dragons means no more Bumbul. Who will step up to challenge Jorge Mina for the scoring title?

Who will stop the Hawks from winning it all? Can the Illusion and Gavno continue to dominate the Great 8? Will the Great 8 assert itself as a division to be respected?

I start off at home, on TV against a team that views me as their rival. How much more exciting could opening day get?!?

no more Bumbul no more Paakkolanvaara and no more Braden. those are big shoes to fill.

And a prediction: steppers and flyers survived in their first season. what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. they are stronger and really dangerous!
