One month and a half ago, I went for 10 days to Croatia where I could access the internet only by phone on 5 EUR/Mb charge. Of course I couldn't set up scrimmages for two weeks in a row, so our players lost a chance to gain some experience. It's not that big of a deal, but if it were competitive games, it would suck.

By your token, I should write in my U21 election speech that I will be without internet for 10 days at end of July and I will lose some votes because of that? Come on, you can't be serious. Real life always interferes and I like the idea of handing lineup setups to someone else that I trust. U21 and NT managers aren't always 17y old kids who have tons of time on their hands.

Sorry, didn't think of that one...now that's a time-consuming process

It also could be a great tool for new coaches (such as me someday) to learn the ropes and see if its something they would like to continue.

I absolutely love this idea.

1- If I go away, and don't have internet access, I can get someone else to set the lineup. This would improve the current process in which I go through, which means I set a lineup 3 weeks in advance, and by the time the fixture comes around all of the starting players have low GS.

2- It would be a good way to mentor people so they don't have to suffer in the first season or two when they are still getting the hang of NT coaching. This happened to me and my first season as U21 coach was crap. It would mean the top coach would be able to give the assistant a couple of scrimmages that don't matter to manage.

@Bballin - Great idea. Makes all the sense in the world.

Like lets say the NT coaches always sets the lineups...then he probably don't want subcoach come in a swap the lineup at any random time,... if he did it could make a big controversy or fight between teh two guys, right? (unless they are one guy with two accounts....).

@Wolph - Sometimes your conspiracy theories are quite laughable. Seriously someone with multi-account is going to make their other team assistant manager? Give your head a shake, man!

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Never read what Wolph said so I'd just like to reiterate that the "interim" manager would only be allowed to Change lineups if the manager that was elected into the position gives him the power too, through the click of a button. Although if its an emergency then there sometimes isn't time for that and so maybe if the head coach doesn't log in for a week, then the assistant takes over with only assistant powers?
