Sorry about that :-( ;-)
Did not saw that coming and dont understand it either.
And i didnt even set my team since i forgot about the time difference, so i was sure that i was going to lose.

By the way: for the season: i sold my best player and i'm not going to replace him. I expect to go down to d2 :-)

What is wrong with this game ? (what's wrong with me ?)
Players I don't want to play ...play.
Players I want to play don't.
I was sure yesterday I played easy ....no...when I looked the day after ...it seemed I've played game of the season...
with my B team ?????????

Maybe all of them were my own mistakes....
Maybe I'm out of focus.
Anyway ..this sucks once again.

whats done is done, you can only look towards the futur ;)

I agree that playing CT with that team of yours (I mean B squad) is illogical :s I can remember having done a line-up once (I do them as soon as the previous game is over to avoid being surprised) and it had not been taken into account, this was 3 or 4 seasons ago.

As you might have noticed, i have sold some players since the beginning of the season, some of which were very important to my team.
My players salaries now total for only 440k, which gives you an indication that i'm not planning to stay in BBBL.

I want to earn some money, train up (and differentely!) and in a few seasons come back (hopefully) stronger.

I wanted to prove that i could make it to the BBBL and survive. I have done that.
But to go further, and to really challenge for more i have to change my team.

That doesn't mean i won't go down without a fight.
I won't throw away games and i will try to do the best i can with my current team to keep things fair.
Hell, i even won two games! :D (to my surprise i must admit)

that's one good challenge! good luck and thanks for your fair play ;)

just had one hell of a night myself: forgot to set up my cup lineup, thus played normal with my best team against a bot, and know i notice asli and tachmatzidis are injured for the next 2 weeks of action... perfect night...

That's a harsh blow, coach :/

@Polle : too bad you're leaving :s I wish you best ! And avoid our old II.4, it's crowded with top teams :p

This is indeed a bad move Mizu... But it seems that this season is already full of that kind of bad move with Obira and myself...

Playing crunch against your team without a center wasn't a good idea... I ve planned to acquired a center in the meantime and put him in my rooster before the game... I hadn't wont the bet and forget that i have anticipated to play that game crunch... Costs me already a lot and in addition to the start of my season where i had no center, i m already in a very bad position... I even thought that i was pushed out of the cup against a D3 team last week which plays crunch... Hopefully i had let go the game agaisnt FTA and kept some of my A team players fit...

With revenging champion Joe and big starters Boes coming home this week, I'm already playing my lasts cards...

Well well guys, what is going on in this division? Bad luck, motivation/ambition decreasing, focusing...on the loose...(luckily for some, the summer/winter time difference between USA and us only happens twice a year) ;-)

Can't say that it goes any differently for me though, bad luck: rival and tv games away...impressive job Dartreb (big game against me) and Sum_41 (I played CT...not enough!)
Motivation/ambition...well, when the financial doesn't follow, it's difficult to do real improvements and thus, the motivation decreases...I guess that the only way to reach another level is to go back to DII (not saying that this is the plan for me...yet).

Joe (where are you btw?), Coach Q and 65days have set the bar pretty high!
....and it's fair to say that we (managers that arrived after season 10) had to struggle each season from DIII to BBBL, by buiding teams eating most of the profit margin...hence, no or very little money on the account to really have the potential to reach the top (for the record, I never had a "tanking" season).
Even now, I do not make money, and all I can do is trying to survive...but I'm not complaining, that's my goal for now...trying to be a BBBL team for as long as possible. That's a big challenge as such.

Anyway, good luck all and keep having fun playing this game, that's what matters after all ;-)

As for myself, I can't be disappointed with my season start. 3/3 is a pretty good start for a promoted team from D.2.

I am far from being safe, however. It will be tight to the end of the season. With Bradok's new C, I am the team with the lowest payroll in the red conference, with approx. 160 k less than ... Bradok's.

I don't have much money left (although I managed to sell my old SF for quite a decent amount of money) but I make a nice weekly margin. If I can keep up that pace I will be able to keep my starting five even if I get relegated, which should hopefully prove enough for an automatic come-back.

I'm still amazed by squad qualities, and by gate receipts :p
