Tuesday night action brought the overall scoring back up a bit, but the kids still seem to be on rims occasionally in IV.11 as the scoring average in the league was just a shade over 80points.

Part of the reason for the low average was because the Condors apparently didn't show up to play. Mike Churchill got his numbers as usual going 16 and 14 but the rest of the team only combined for 32 points of their own. The Generals had no problem scoring as six players finished with at least 10. Oriol Pujol continued his offensive brilliance going 12/15 while Miguel Ángel Baños led all scorers with 20.

In the tightest game of the night the Sentinels did just enough to trump the Plugs in a 86-76 slug fest. Despite giving up double doubles to Curtis Kyle and Merle Oakley, the Plugs may have been able to win, but their inexperience bested them, coughing the ball is 15 times and committing 21 fouls. Henry Plant got back to work in this one leading all scorers with 26 but it wasn't enough for the Plugs.

The Machetes have a firm grip as one of the top teams in the league, and Saturdays matchup vs the Mad Dogs should be one we all tune in to. Moving to 6-0 against a Poros team who put more effort into the matchup, the Machetes spread the ball around the perimeter, were 5 players were able to amass double digit scoring nights. Patrick Waziri kept the Poros off the glass, pulling down 16 boards. LF Valverde wasn't fazed, going 12/11 on the night and Tadeu Orbaiz led all scorers with 27.

The Savages struggled to contain the bigs of Team Turn Up. Despite planning for them to look inside, Vlado Vouk still finished with 18points going 8/10 from the field. Devadze hasn't proven to be worth the hefty fee the Savages paid as his game rating hasn't been over 5.5 since joining the squad including a zero point effort in this one. 4/5 starters for Turn Up scored double digits while Richard Dennis just missed, getting 9 points and 11 boards. Sylvain Carriér lead all scorers with 27 but it wasn't enough for the Savages.

Morgantown continued its dominance, becoming one of 2 teams to go 6-0 to start the season, in a 94-66 routing of the Tartans. Grant Jennings finished with 21/15 but he needed some help from the rest of the team against such a tough opponent. Whitney Jacques came off the bench in this one, as the front office looked for him to get some rest. Chen Ziquan can do no wrong and despite his old knees and back, is still a force to be reckoned with, going 10/14 on the night. Aleksander Kamnik led all scorers with 23.

The Green Peppers wanted to dethrone the Believers and did so in this one, playing Crunch time and getting the 75-61 win. A battle of bigs erupted in this one as Leroy Lyman, Yiorgakis Grouspas, Ioannis Pouliadis and Mink Lenk all walked away with double doubles. The difference maker in this one was Pepper, Nino Kocentanovic who led all scorers with 19 including converting all 7 FT attempts.

Mercy Buckets dumped a hurting on the Beach goers in a 97-50 wave. It's a good thing the WPB execs brought in Klevas Šlianžys because he may as well have been the only one who dressed. He finished with 21 in his IV.11 debut while the rest of the team went 8/60 from the field. Rafael Xamxim went for 10/20 off the bench for the Buckets and Dane Marsh led the scoring drive with 23.

In the highest scoring game of the night, the Force took out the Bucks 108-88. The Force continue to give their rookies lots of key minutes for training, but the Coach has been pulling them out late in games, despite being ordered not to. Matija Jabucanin had a great night, going 13 and 17 while the Bucks Ellis Carlisle got his own double double, going 18/13. The Force kept the Bucks off the glass out rebounding them 62-49 as Jose Andrade and Gilberto Manzano each lead their team in scoring with 24.

Tally one for the league, I knocked out the cup draw that beat Generals last week.

I did just add three decent players for a relatively low cost, so I may try to make a run at the playoffs, depends if I decide to keep training my mvp

In a battle of undefeated teams in the Great 8, the Morgantown Mad Dogs head to Machete Stadium and square off against the Machete Kills squad. While the Machetes have done enough to top each of their opponents this season, the Mad Dogs are a different breed and will likely outgun the Machetes in each position. The Mad Dogs will likely continue to utilize their strength inside in this one, topping the Machetes in a closer than usual win.

The Force will look to extend their winning streak to 3 games as they face off against the Plugs. Henry Plant will be the best player on the court, but the Force hope their overall talent will be enough to overcome the Estonian 2 guard. If the Force can stay out of foul trouble, look for them to come out with a win.

The Generals look to avoid dropping a second game this early in the season as they face the 4-2 Turn Up squad. Oriol Pujol will look to continue his dominance and all around stat stuffing, and will likely match up against the Estonian newcomer Ardo Hennoste at the stretch 4 and Vlado Vouk in the paint. Unless this one goes sideways in game planning, look for the Generals to out gun the talented Turn Up team.

In a 3/4 Matchup, The Poros will look to stay atop the Tartan's in the Great 8. The Poros have scored more this season, but have also given up more than the Tartans. Nuad Jagodic will likely help LF Valverde downlow in his first appearance in IV.11, but not many have had success shutting down the trio of Jacques, Redman and Jennings for the Tartan. The Tartans will have home court advantage and should be able to oust the visiting Poros in a close one.

In a move that shook the league, the Believers sold the talented veteran Mink Lenk this week, as Tony France has become the focal point of the Believer offense. France will bring his squad to the tip off circle against a West Palm Beach team that has been struggling of late. While the Believers undoubtedly have a stronger interior, the addition of Klevas Sliauzys has bolstered the perimeter. They say defense wins championships, but this one may be a wild west shootout. I like the Believers in a high scoring affair.

The Sentinels take on the Bucks who have been the BB equivalent to drawing a Charity Card to land on Go in Monopoly, collect your money and wait for the next event. Despite knocking off the plugs in a tight one, the Sentinels haven't been much to fear themselves this season. This one will likely be close in what will be a battle of 2 relegated teams. Im giving the edge to the Bucks because why not?

The Peppers take on the Mercy Buckets in a great prime time matchup. The new addition of Oswaldo Ventura will help the Buckets out tremendously so Xaxim and Antonivic don't have to do all the work, but Dane Marsh is still unproven and will be outmatched in this one. Leroy Lyman will have his hands full in the paint, and the Peppers may elect to keep the ball outside and let Leithner and Montalvo do the heavy lifting. Im taking the Buckets in an upset, but certainly not a shocker.

We saw a undefeated matchup in the Great 8, and the Big 8 will match up a pair of winless clubs as the Condors face off against the Savages. Both teams would be middle of the road in the Great 8, but the Big 8 has more parody and therefor these talented clubs will both be looking for their first win of the season. Savages' Mike Churchill continues to be the best player on the court, but the Condors will likely have too much firepower elsewhere in this one. Look for the Savages to remain winless until facing some of the cakewalks on interleague play.

Its not so unsurprising that Lek got sold, he was a really good young player. I thought he would actually get sold for more, $2m. Maybe there are a lot of centers on the list? Looks like the believers had a successor waiting in the wings, certainly no downgrade there. I also predict Condors take that win, Churchill is doing well, he's a big that does damage against any team.

I consider Marsh my best player, he leads team in scoring, fg, steals, leads my guards in % and rebounding, and assists more than my starting PG. I need to upgrade my team in that case...and soon!

Lek didn't have good secondary skills, which is why I sold him. It was almost a straight up trade for this new guy. I like him better and I think he can lead our team through a few more cup rounds.

Churchill is a great player, but he doesn't seem to help me win. He's like Demarcus Cousins instead of Tim Duncan. He'll put up numbers, but he's not getting the Ws.

In the end, it's been the shooting that has let my team down all season. Simply terrible shooting all around. That said, we should beat the Savages tonight, I don't see them getting the W. If they do, I'm gonna have to fight the rest of the way. This game is actually important because it creates space between us and keeps one of us out of the relegation position.

Holy crap, that was close. Great game considering it was between two winless teams. Rookie Troy Jett played all 53 minutes (as did Wayne McCloud, who nearly had a triple-double with a great stat line of 17-16-8 with 3 steals and 4 blocks) and despite only going 7-22 from 2 point range, he went 5-7 from beyond the arc and was the leading scorer for the Condors. Malcolm Vaughn was productive off the bench with 10 points in 10 minutes. For the Savages, the incredible play of Špirović and Devadze were just mot enough to overcome the depth of the Condors.

Wow Machete Kills just beat Morgantown. Morgantown's Chen Ziquan has a higher salary than the entire Machete team combined. Morgantown hasn't logged on in almost a month however, and they must be in trouble financially.

Night 1 of inter-league play will offer little in competition, as the already heavily favored Big 8 will have a distinct advantage in almost every matchup.

The Machete Kills are certainly riding a wave of adrenaline after knocking off the power house Mad Dogs, and hopefully it isnt too much of a wave that it distracts them from the task at hand. Despite the Condors being 7th in the Big 8, they have a talented rosters, and eventually, Mike Churchill's numbers has to result in a win. Wayne McCloud is proving to be a valuable commodity to the Condors front court and Daniil Bosyakov is always a threat to drop big numbers. If Hector Guaita has a big game for the Machetes, they should be able to withstand the Condors in a close one.

The Beach Crew and Sentinels face off both sitting 6th in their conferences, but WPB has to be a distinct favorite. The Sen's haven't shown much in the way of making them a threat this season and Klevas Sliauzys is a skilled vet who can easily take over. Beach crew by a slew.

The Savages sit 8th in the Big 8 and barring an epic collapse by Morgan Town, they will likely tighten their grip on that last seed with another loss. The Savages have made some moves to try to avoid Relegation this season but it wont be enough to over throw Chen Ziquan and the Dogs. Sources have stated the Dogs owner has not been present in months and mumbles are growing about his potential of selling the team. It would be a shocking blow to the Great 8 if the early season favorite to win it all bowed out mid season for the likes of another bot or start up team. Either way, Dogs big in this one.

The Mercy Buckets take on the Plugs in one of the matches that heavily favor the Big 8. The Buckets have sat middle of the pack in a tight conference, while the Plugs are just trying to fight for a chance to play the relegation game. It goes without saying, that Henry Plant will put up numbers, but much like MJ in his prime, you can allow him to go off as long as you contain the rest of the team. In this case, the Plugs are no Chicago Bulls of the 90s and the Buckets should have no issues shutting down the Plugs. Look for Xaxim to go for 25-15 in a routing.

A 1-4 Matchup seeds the Generals against the Poros in what will likely be a bigger spread then the rankings would suggest. The Poros are going to need a career night from Nuad Jagodic but that still may not be enough to get past the all around game of the Generals. Merlin Vick will keep Jagodic out of the paint and alter most shots offered down low while Oriol Pujol keeps dazzling and keeping the statistician's hand cramped. Generals stay in the 1 seed in a 15 point spread.

In one of the nights better matchups, the Turn Ups line up against a 3rd ranked Tartan team. The big 3 of the Tartans are a force to be reckoned with but so too is the backcourt of the Turn Up's. This one will likely come down to strategy and in this one I'd favor the Tartans.

The Believers are going to improve to 7-1, taking on the Bucks who sit dead last in the Great 8. Unless the team bus crashes, or the whole team is found to be involved in a prostitution ring the Believers would have to try to lose, to not get the win. And even if they try they to lose they will still most likely win.

The Peppers will take on the Force in a 3-5 match that should go in the Peppers favor. The Force will be out matched at every position, and despite Matija Jabucanin's strength down low, he wont have enough pop to handle Leroy Lyman. If the Force can get the Peppers in early foul trouble they might be able to keep it close but i still wouldn't take any money to Vegas for an upset in this one.
