to be honest, it's better not to be in the SF for me financially. You got what for income in the semi final? 200k from shared revenue from Guiguits? But you are paying the salary from your players this week. So you'll lose out on the week.
meanwhile, i didn't have to pay my salary which means i'm getting just under 200k profit this week (which will go into the stadium again). So from that point of view, me not going futher isn't a bad thing.
If all my players are fit, i would have been interested in if i stood a chance against Guiguits. Cause i haven't had the chance to face him at full strength this season. For the first game, my PG was injured. For the second game, he injured my C so fast that i had a hole in my line up.
Anyhow, Guiguits has the chance to promote again, which will boost his economy (providing he can put out a BBBL worthy team)
from the economical point of view, i reckon it doesn't hurt Eagle either. He doesn't have to pay the salary wages, so he'll gain more from it. For him, with promotion secure, he result didn't really matter anymore. If anything, i think it's better that he isn't playing since he'll get more from it in a financial way. I've seen this case in Germany, where a team was certain to promote and then sold all their players just before the PO's
Edit: just to be clear, i'm not accusing Eagles of throwing the game from a finiancial point of view. Just saying that i'm guessing it's not that bad all in all
