I had a really good year last season (my first), so I expanded my arena quite a bit. Attendance grew pretty steadily and came pretty close to selling out in my first game this season. But I can already tell my team is not going to be that competitive in D3, so I may regret the expansion. But it's something to keep in mind. The jump to the next division may not be a permanent one.

oh man... this might be the most frustrating thing ever! Losing for most of the game, come back in the fourth quarter, tied for the last 15 seconds of the match, get a 3 off with 1 second remaining, get fouled, put in the last of the 3 free throws, opponent calls a full time out, and sinks the last shot to win by 1 point in the last second. Freaking heart stopper that I thought I had won... grrr... and to an opponent who logged in for the first time in 4 weeks...

So now I know that I need to bump up my free throws. I could have built a palace with the bricks my boys were throwing up.

Anyway, on to the question I have this time around: how many fouls are the guys allowed in the game? I thought they were booted after 5 fouls, but I had two guys playing with 5 fouls.

Thanks, I got worried when two of my key players got to 4 fouls, and then was confused when they got their 5th foul but still played anyway. I guess I'm too used to high school rules :)

On to another set of questions. Here is the situation that I am in:

I TIEed my game tonight so my enthusiasm is at 7. My next match is a cup match against a bot, and the match after that is against a brand new user who just got a team this week (my team is maybe 3 weeks old). My good players have all played more than 48 minutes (more in the mid-50s range).

So...

1) How much of a drop in ratings would I get if I TIEed the next match too?

2) How much will my players' game shape be impacted by their playing 50 some-odd minutes this week?

3) How much more badly will they be impacted if they played another game?

4) If I don't TIE the next match, what would my enthusiasm be for the next league match?

5) Also, would somebody be willing to take a look at my last match and let me know what could have been better? (8785815)

Thanks for the evaluation.

Is there a thread somewhere that I can be referred to that explains what happens with the different tactics?

Is there also a thread that can teach me how to scout my opponent's better?

Also, how big a factor is stamina?

I have a somewhat trivial question that's been bugging me; during the game play when they show the x's and o's for the shots, what does the occasional tiny square mean?

Does "pressure" training impact more than just OD?

What does the occasional tiny square mean?

It actually a combination of an 'x' and an 'o', it just means that 2 shots were taken from the same spot.

Does "pressure" training impact more than just OD?

How do you interpret your opponent's ratings as they apply to you? I mean, I know that I can look at their rebounding compared to my rebounding, their flow compared to mine, etc., but what about the points per 100 shots part?

Any advice on scouting players?
