You're ex-ABBL so I didn't want to show any disrespect by beating you...

(Wasn't that confident of getting the win, so thought I'd save some enthusiasm and keep my players for the cup on Thursday.)

Wish Id been able to read your mind, because if id been able to do that I might have gone easier with enthusiam

Notice Awesome and Avalon Jets are on top. My tip is for one of them to promote and id imagine Avalon Jets would have the deeper pockets.

Come finals time there is noway I could beat either of them whilst still training 18 & 19 yearolds

Believe it or not Im kind of keen to train up some aussie players.

(Ive been to the ABBL twice before and spent 4 seasons up there, but I havent had that many players who have played for Australia)

Cant compete in the ABBL with 19 or 20 year olds in full one position training, hence I might just have to be content to stay in my old stomping grounds for 2 or 3 seasons.

Judging by Vios's reduced presence on this forum I reckon tanking is starting to take affect on his sole.

Poor old Matt has also reduced his presence on this forum, seems to be too busy "rubbing" (shirt fronting) some of the ABBLers

What odds will anyone give me for Avalon Jets promoting this season?

Sorry Sid, I've been busy spectating in the ABBL forums as well. That was quite entertaining, certainly makes up for some of the lack of excitement my games provide.

Over the weekend I played my footy prelim. We won so had a bit of a celebration that night, then worked a 8am-9pm shift at the Adelaide Show on Sunday and have still been putting the pieces back together since. This week is all about the GF, so BB will definitely be taking a back seat!

Yeah I was hoping you might tank our game after already winning this week (and still being in the cup), but in the end figured you probably wouldn't. Thought I was a 50/50 chance at best to get a win, but would've needed to play a normal and a proper team, basically eliminating me from the cup in the process.

The 70 point loss really hasn't helped my PD, dropped from 1st to 4th after the loss. Quite a few strong looking teams in here, not going to make any predictions until everyone has played their hands...

Been flat out at work lately (I work in footy, so it's been the busiest time of year), hence less time on BB. I generally still read through this forum when I log on, but don't always have the time to reply.

Great game mon, I finally put in a defensive lineup on and it semed to work. 27 - 87 Fgs not so good and the big C was quiet. New recruit gets a big hug from everyone. Last chance effort to save the season lol.

yar i hate to blame injuries, but lack of players and poor game shape this season is killing me. im just treading water at the moment.

nice purchase just before the game though, thanks for that haha - im not quite sure how my PF can go 10-17, yet the rest of the team shot so poorly. And my ratings were so poor!

but well done. keeps you in touch with the group.
