I agree Carmona was great but I have to give props to my guy German who put up 51pts (10-14 from 3pt land) 6 boards, 3 assists and 2 steals with only 1 turnover playing SG across from Carmona.

German and Carmona put on one sweet show for the fans last night!

As always, I love the analysis.

However, you've got my quotes entirely wrong. I was pissed as hell that Mina lost the opportunity to play in that game. There is no reason Barr should be in the allstar game over Mina. Mina is an all around better player. Better pts, better assists, better turnovers, better free throw shooter. Barr has a slight edge in fg% but they're close, very close. There's a reason Barr got left off the allstar game last year. He's the 3rd best G in the division. I'm not trying to be disrepsectful to him, he's a great player. Its just that he's only the 3rd best and it sucks that Pistons decided to do something so stupid and muck it all up.

me too. he just played one game and got the all-star game. lol that's ok Salisbury needs a rest!

I was very surprised to see that as well. They should have to have a certain amount of completed games before being selected.

Carmona is just a beast. You can't guard him. I had one of my best OD on him in Barry and it got him in foul trouble early both guys guarding Carmona ended with 4 fouls. He is crazy good. If it weren't for German playing lights out ball as well you would have blown me out by 20. I don't think anyone wants to play you come playoffs.

I wouldn't mind playing him in the playoffs... of course that would mean a tremendous turn around and my team actually making the playoffs.

My team held him to 4 for 13 from the field. I think you have to have a decent defender with some essemblance of Shot blocking to alter his shot a little, plus I think the more you can make him defend, the worse he will be.
