Anyway, need to keep focused. Perfect GS for next 3 weeks and we should be able to make it through the first stage.
I personally rate this win higher than the one against USA, even though there is no hardware to show for it.

Ok, since I am on holidays and won't have that much time until sunday, I really NEED someone to make analysis of our next opponent on the offsite. You can check how it looks for our last 2 games and take that as reference if you want. Would be awesome if it could be done ASAP, and then just updated with GS on friday.

I have the internet here, just not spending much time on it, so I will voice my opinion after (hopefuly) seeing the analysis and enter the discussion as well.

That is one freaking ballsy GDP. I'd actually do similarly crazy things if overmatched, but never would have guessed Princeton in this particular game even if they do use it as much as LI. I would've guessed LI (and lost by 25) or motion (for stupid reasons, while probably winning).

It may have actually been a 50/50 game without GDP. Not score-wise, but ratings-wise. Hard to say how huge GDP is. That's surprising with 0 mins from Hall, 7 from Sammons, and overall worse GD than them.

Definitely the best GDP I've seen in BB. Hell, possibly the best overall win I've seen in BB that wasn't complete luck (if we lie and say GDP isn't luck). So, uh, nice job. Can't top that.

Looking at how close the game was, even with them using princeton, which is weaker than LI by far, and us getting full GDP right......there was just no other option. Even if they played LI and I got GDP right for that, they would have won, if 50% of GDP was right and 50% wrong in any case, they would have won. This was the only scenarion favorable for us, so only thing that was left to do is whether we play it safe and conserve PD, or are going all in. Decision was easy for me since I promised before even being voted in that I will take more risks if they make sense.

Also, when Czech manager came forward with mutual TIE (bleh) proposition I tried to play a little mind-games. Not sure if it had any effect on the way they played so can't take credit, but basically I said no to the proposition, and why would we even consider it being the weaker team and not having a chance on equal enthusiasm without full GDP. So I just wrote that he should feel free to play wahtever tactic/enthusiasm will go on, and that I will put in full GDP (and looking at couple of their last games that is an easy choice).

I am really hoping somebody will volunteer to do scouting against France.

That's if the score matters. Looking at the ratings, I wouldn't have been surprised if the team on the left won by 30. The team on the right played an outside offence against marvelous (med) OD. Just doesn't compute.

I would really hope that score matters since often placing is decided by PD. Yeah, by looking at the ratings alone I wouldn't be surprised either, but multi-skilled players seem to have less effect on ratings than mutant players, but they do make a team much, much stronger. So I will stick with an opinion that one missed GDP, and it would be close loss, anything other than that. We would lose convincingly.

Of course I might be wrong, and as you said. Its not important. Unless by some miracle we get to semis we are not going to face them for a while (and if we dont fix our prospects for a really long time).
