And it is "only" wozzvt. It's not like you drew one of the good NBBA teams...

FUCK!

Stupid cup draws.

And here I was cursing my cup draw. I'm just going to put my hands in my pockets, whistle coolly and walk away.

So I trained outside shooting this week and one of my trainees got an INSIDE DEFENSE pop?!?!?! I think I could somehow explain almost any skill getting trained from outside shooting EXCEPT for ID.(and maybe SB)

RB pop? Just means he misses all the time and has to rebound his misses. ST pop? Means he got his wind sprints in chasing the ball off his misses. PA pop? He was nice and got the rebound of his teammates missed shots and passed the ball to his fellow trainee. But Inside Defense? No idea how you would get any training in that while training outside shooting.

Good point. Just funny to think about how you would get training in it in real life out of that situation.

well, maybe the guy was shooting only 3-pointers in drills and scrimmages at practice, and someone who shoots a 3 pointer (especially near the top) should always immediately run back to defense. If this shooter missed the three, and ran back, he would find himself defending a fast break, which usually results in an inside shot attempt (layup/dunk), so he would get some practice defending inside shots.

thats the only way i can think of it.

I've always thought of it as:

1) In team practices there are full-team scrimmages, a holistic approach that allows players to practice every skill to a small extent, although improvements are unpredictable, just as in real life

2) Players improve mentally just by taking part in or observing an isolated drill, regardless of the skill being practiced

Interesting time for a tank job. Figured the road win for the attendance bank was more valuable? (And, btw, how stupid is it that the game engine is set up to encourage that?)
