This was one of the most painful losses in our recent NT history. 6-9 for three with Look inside tactic? Three top scorers are PG, SG and SF? We win RB war 51 to 29, have 16 off. rebounds to their 4, and still lose. How bad can 2-3 get?
You can train SB all you want, but I don't think it helps against jumpshooting guards.

Well we are tracking a lot of NT players when they hit the market. Most of the NT backcourt consists of 17/12 players or worse. If they played R&G against our M2M, they'd brick their way out of the game. Instead they play Look inside which hurt their shooting ability by GE design, and they still shoot the lights out. I understand if they were 19/15 guys...but not 17/12.

This is absolutely correct. Percentages from 3 point land are way too low. I'm lucky to get 10%.

IN RL a C in a 2-3 zone still needs some OD. The Syracuse 2-3 zone that my team used this season has the center guarding most entries in to the high post.

Would the high post really be defined as "outside"?

Größter Knecht aller Zeiten aka His Excellency aka President for Life aka Field Marshal Al Hadji aka Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas aka aka Conqueror of the Buzzerbeater Empire in Europe in General and Austria in Particular

I would define the high post as mid-range.

I would define it as Yannick Noah, certainly at least while he was at UF. ;)

From a basketball standpoint, you use the same defensive skills and techniques when the ball is in the high post as you would when the ball is on the perimeter.
