The rich gets richer... not really fair is it.

whitebeard is going for a dynasty, not just a few championships.

Doesn't help that everybody tanks against him so his fan survey is always full marks and his arena stays full. If you could beat him in 1 game, especially giving him a loss before his next home game, that could be 100k loss right there (yes it is possible to have that much of a swing in arena income, it's crazy).

At least he's 1.9mil and 95k per week down now :P

There is only a select few that could even get close to beating him so it's hard to justify not tanking when you can save minutes for a more important even game.

Winning is only a bonus. Winning a trophy or nothing in a season is fine by me. I'm more into training Aussie players now a days. I'm always very tempted to push the button to buy a trainee that fits with my plans especially ones that can make the national team. I apologise to C-Cat, I know you wanted Shishaev but I've been putting off training Walker's passing and now I don't have an excuse with Shishaev. So hopefully Australia will get better point guards. Also not really satisfied with the way some of the trainers are stopping to further train their players when they don't want to push closer to their caps. Which is understandable given their astronomical salaries but with the way salaries keep getting decreased by BBs I think it's more feasible. So rather than hoping trainers will listen, I'm just taking things into my hands.

As for my money, it can't last forever. I'm just having fun with it while I can. I could have easily continue to earn 175k+ per week and save money for the future to win more trophies but I rather put that money to good use right now. The sooner I fall, the better it is for you guys right? :p

lol your right mate, i was only looking at him because he was there and starting at $1k he could have been a moderately priced Aussie option.

I was very tempted to add another bid on just to be a smart ass but i wasn't gonna spend that much, you didn't need quite that much of an excessive bid to get him i dont think

I tend to like to stamp my authority on bids now a days after a few missed opportunities or bid wars I got into. For example with Walker I did tiny bids and had him at 1.7m with 15 seconds to go but suddenly went into a bid war with a Turkish division 4 team until 2.6m. That's why if I want someone I will put a big bid up and if I miss out on the player then I miss out. But I will definitely be willing to overspend for someone I want. ;)

hahaha yeah 1.9 was well and truly stamping your authority. The guy selling him sold 2 other players basically exactly the same as him as well today, one for 625k and the other for 780k.

How it sucks buying aussie!

It really does. I doubt there is another non-micronation on earth where you have to pay so brutally over market value for local players. I found it impossible to get a trainee and was willing to go to age 19 and guys with big flaws.

$175k a week profit, wow, that is about double me. All those Aussie NT players certainly pay off. I had bids on three Aussies overnight and missed all three although I did lowball two of them including the famous Donell White.
