the sacrifices we make hey sid.........

Well I havent won it as yet.

Bit ironic that Im nearing the top in this game at a time in life when things havent been great

Big effort by yourself to stay up in the ABBL whilst training young players.

I'm probably 50-50 to come up - my opponent probably has a better team, but I have HCA. Will probably be a tight series.

Well done Pete. I didn't see the game but looks though you got through pretty easily. Serves me right for starting my rental.

I'm hoping that with Keith out that I'm all but assured a victory and get to stay up in the ABBL 1 more season.
Not really the way I like to win, it's not a true reflection of the competition when an injury occurs.
But BB has a funny way of reminding you that she just don't care for your expectations and sensitivities!

The interesting thing with Keith being injured is that it now forces Pancakes to be unpredictable.
And that smells like danger to me!

Thanks

It didn't help you out to have Vedeckis out early plus the slow recovery of Adduci as well. I'm sure that with your young awesome team, that you will be tough to beat for many more seasons.

Hopefully, I can shock everyone, and somehow do it for all the G8 teams.

Well done to the Goldfish, simply a better team this season.

Unfortunately for my team, i was more focused on training for the NT this season rather than winning any games and because of some of the big salaries i have, that meant there was no room for a bench of any kind which is where i really struggled.

Not all that fussed about dropping as i think i'm finally nearing the point where i hang up my boots for good so it's better that someone else stay up in the ABBL to give you guys the competition. I'll likely spend next season focusing on Pradip, Pierce and the young Stanley Han like i did this season but i'm not much more than a training bot at this point.

Darren Lonergan will be on the market soon too for anyone who wants a dominant NT big man for their squads next season.

Other than that, good luck to the Finals teams. I think HA is just too strong at the moment and starting to show the rewards of seasons worth of hard work on the training end.

hey sad to see you say that you are hanging up your boots. =(
thats three great aussie BB managers now that have followed in those foot steps... namely mllama, whitebeard and now you.
although mllama has made a resurgent of late.

gone are those big dynasties in the ABBL... now teams are finding harder and harder to win back to back championships.

Just because great Managers like Whitebeard, Dire & Mllama have dropped back to Div 2, doesnt automatically mean that they are hanging up their boots.

Mllama and Bryce will most likely bounce back to the ABBL this season and I hope after taking a bit of a breather that maybe one day soon Whitebeard and Dire will also return

Sometimes you have to take a step back to take 2 steps forward and with the introduction of the over extension tax I believe that there is a huge advantage to teams who train up players, and by luck I was already well down this track

Dire is virtually a neighbour of mine in real life as from memory he lives in Berwick where as I live in Narre Warren

We probably know each other in real life without even realising our common background in Buzzerbeater

I salute the Sir Dire who I consider to be an absolute legend of the game.

If through the advantage that the Over extension tax has given my team, I was lucky enough to win a few ABBL Championships or Tournament Cups, I would never ever compare myself to the likes of Dire, Whitebeard, Mllama or Bryce who I consider to be "greats of the game"

Neither would we.

No I am joking Sid, you have timed your run to perfection. Good luck to both finalists.

I am also very sad to see Dire go. I consider him to be one of the elite managers of all time along with mllama, Whitebeard, C-Cat and Bryce. Koop nabbing another cup is also starting to get there.
