I was pretty close to there. I was at Staples for the Heat/Clippers game near the beginning of my trip. I spent most of my time in LA in the northwest suburbs. A lot cheaper. lol. Everywhere around there was great Malibu, Santa Barabara.. I'd move there in a second.

Even if I don't make a profit on any of these players I'm fine with it. I've made a lot of cash this year already. Regardless, if I relegate I should easily be able to win my DIV league next year and get back, assuming I don't get into a super stacked DIV league. We'll see what happens. I just hope I face No Potential instead of you in the relegation series. lol.

Bobcats4Life - Los Angeles Clippers (Sorry Bobcats, use it for motivation)
I had Clippers in mind for a while, because in the big picture, Bobcats4Life like the clippers are deep and rich in talent but don't find ways to win. While Paint-Any (Penzeni) isn't same age as Blake Griffin, their playing style and stats are similar, monster pts & reb. If wasn't for Baron Davis trade would be better comparison cause he draws alot of similarities to Szulim including the age (but not Szulim ginger hairstyle). Burgess scores 20+ when playing 30+ minutes so there he can be compared to Eric Gordon, not age however once again. While Kaman been disappointing this year, his past numbers show more similarities to Matsis. In the end however, the comparison was more based on deep talented team that needs to find ways to win, but my gut instincts tells me Bobcats will contradict this comparison in the near future.

Philly Phakeouts - Minnesota Timberwolives (Last year)
I picked the wolves because they need to win, but besides that their best assets come from big guys that can score more than the rest and rebound. While Derrick Hanks won't shoot 3pts he does shoot some, and John Davis perhaps best player on the team at center, also is true that last year Al Jefferson was best player at least to begin with before Love's emergence after injury. The guards are sore area for both teams, while Phakeouts has 1 guard better than last year's PG,SG,SF of T-Wolves who average 10.9-13.5 pts, the other guys not as good for Phakeouts.

yeah. i found the resemblance in the Los Angeles Clippers to my team too...which i was lacking the small forward position for so long and still looking for the solid one. Pascual is a much better version of Randy Foye who plays two guards.

I do hope i turn things around and become more like I guess Dallas? with Mate as Drik w/o range Tyson comparing to Panos, Piotr to Jason Kidd, Jason Terry to Pascual and the rest of the guards like Roddy, JJ Brea and getting there with the SF position which they already have Shawn Marion and Caron Butler.

I dont mind being Portland also who Aldridge emerges as one of the best pf in the nba just like Mate Paint-Any

So what's your take going to be?

You going to talk about how sad it was that a borderline playoff team lost to the worst team in the league (ala the Knicks to the Cavs)

Or you going to play up the Might Ducks/underdog angle of my triumph over adversity (ala the Cavs beating the Knicks)

Did I mention I won a freaking game.. on the road!

Game 16 recaps

Cleveland at Champaign

Both teams came out and looked to move the ball quickly. With each team taking nearly 100 shots it looked to be a crowd pleaser. Brightbill and Grecijonas both came up big tonight scoring in double digits. The problem was that the Champaign boys didn't play much defense and allowed seven Crazy's into double digits. In the end poor shooting from the outside and a whole lot less rebounds put another L in the Champaign game column. Crazy's 108 Champaign 81

Terrors at VD's

Guys not hard to explain this game. Nobody could guard Ken Wilson and allowed him to score 47. When Ken Wilson scores like that the VD's are gonna win. VD's 89 Terrors 70

Flames at Tachenko

The Flames are burning again. With recent acquistions on the floor perhaps Tachenko underestimated the obvious under dog. Well under estimate no more. With a mindset to test his new shooters the Flames were firing early. Neither team did well from 3 land but Tachenko could have pulled this one out with better shooting fromt he charity stripe. Flames 93 Tachenko 89

Phantoms at Dutchmen

Two teams playing each other which could be a sign of a playoff game to come. With Both teams having phenomonal talents this would have been a pleasure to watch. Hutson and Romary were leaders again but they did not have enough to overcome the Phantoms putting 6 players in double digit scoring. Each team made 34 shots but the Dutchmen commited 26 fouls..............that is not a typo and this was the difference in the game. Phantoms 97 Dutchmen 84

Challengers at Cats

With different offensive approaches each team looked to play to their strengths. The Challengers were firing away while the Cats pounded the ball down low. Marangon was great wtih 27 pts but was not enough as the Cats 4 big men made it into double digit points. The German Zinchits proved that Germans can play with 30 pts and 18 boards. Cats 106 Challengers 86

Allstars at Phakeouts

The Phakeouts have been putting added effort into their games of late unfortunately it is not paying off. Gurklis comes to play every night but seldom gets help from others. The Allstars had enough firepower tonight to finish off the Phakeouts. When you only hit one three pointer in the game and you need them to catch up the nights not gonna end well.
Allstars 83 Phakeouts 70

Crank Dat at NP

With the talent these two teams put on the court each game everyone knew this would be a good game. Junde was big again tonight with 28 but Gallano for NP was huge with 30. On paper the game should have been a near tie but paper never works on the court only in the restroom. Bottom line is NP had better shooters tonight. NP 111 Crank Dat 96

Prov City at Blasters

Over 200 shots taken in this game. The Blasters are coming off a strong cup season and were ready to finally play a game with a full complement of players.............and a bench. Carmona was huge as always tossing in 36 but Ichaso was incredible draining 43. Blasters shot more and made more tonight...........but which one of us wouldn't take Carmona on our team right about now? Blasters 126 Prov City 107

MVP tonight

K. Wilson 47 pts

Honorable mention

Ichaso 43 pts
