i have a terrible track record as a trainer, but i hate atrocious. so for that reason, i would reject player 10.

on the positive side, TSP is very important, as is time, so for that reason i would prefer player 29.

Yeah, the atrocious IS is another strike against 10. There were a few guys in the 47-49 TSP range who may or may not have been 18 years old (no strong skills to indicate they were 19, but that doesn't rule it out) who I diidn't even bother with scouting because they had 2 atrocious skills. That's just too deep of a hole to train out of for me.

Player 29 hands down

Better inside skills and i like trainees that have more DR than HA, makes it easier to pound on 1v1 without needing to worry about salary. I also like the JR which is a pain to train.

Eugene has a 1 point game at half. Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

This was a really weak draft. I just scouted the old fashion way which I was accumstomed to:

Scouting Combine (10 points); Group Demonstration (10 points); interview/scout all 18 year old prospects.

It seems you were able to reveal every prospect's TSP by using your method -- which costs 50 points, right? Seems like the better method.

Yeah, 50 points to get all of the skills and then based on that info decide whom to scout/interview. Now that 19 year olds can have skills up to strong, getting all of the skills also tends to provide ages. There can be some 19 year olds who don't have any skill at strong, but most seem to have at least one.

I agree that this appears to be a really weak draft. Only two 19 year olds over 60 TSP and both were just 61. Only three 18 year olds above 50 TSP, although one is at 56. I'm crossing my fingers he falls to me at the third pick but not counting on it.

I generally consider 45 TSP for 18 year olds and 55 TSP for 19 year olds about the limit, although make exceptions at times if someone is a point or two lower and has no skills at awful or below.

I ended up scouting eight 18yr and four 19yr, so spent 86 points in total.
