listing players in this thread is a banable offence according to the rules in the BB manual.

I strongly suggest you delete this post, before I have to report this. Something I dont want to do, but we need to keep this forum thread focused on real NT talent.

Man, I don't speak Polish, but that is one awful translation. I'm honestly not sure if his prospect is good or bad!

I drafted this guy, i'm sure he had atrocious driving or something. Also with only allstar potential, nothing special really.

seriously

i am going to step down as the NT coach and I might not be the best coach in the world, but really you are going to select a player for the U21 that has atrocious passing and awful OD? You think any NT coach with a normal frame off mind will select him for the NT? Maybe it is best to list players you think that could make it into the U21 into a different forum thread. This guy should never ever play for the NT. (maybe we wont get better bigs trained in the future, than god help England)

such a shame :( nice bigs, but missing key attributes when it comes to making a difference playing for the NT. The 19 year old is too expensive, the 21 year old is too cheap :) Although I would never buy the 21 year old with atrocious HN and atrocious PS

unless ive missed something i dont think anyone is suggesting you or any other nt coach would pick a player with atrocious passing. And the 19 year old has a cheap salary, and time, on his side so that it is possible someone would give him that training.

I was looking for a big guy to give lots of passing training to for example.
I have also trained a player up from atrocious (although he was a guard not a big)

you are probably right though in that it might make sense to have an u21 for sale thread and keep the nt thread separate

this thread is called NT players up for grabs

why is the player being posted here, if nothing else than that would be suggested? this is what this thread is for. Players that are on the NT or that have a genuine chance to make it onto the NT. This forum isnt for listing any english player. So what is being suggested here otherwise, by listing this player?

I had this discussion with a EBBL coach the other week. And he was stubborn. Try train OD or PS on a 200cm or bigger player. I tried to train Craig Thom this season on OD, trained him 1 position and trained like 10 weeks OD this season. Ooooh and I have a level 6 trained. He popped once! So I will change to 1 position big training soon, to make sure not to waist his talent.

training a tall players guard skills is hard if not close to impossible. Training atrocious passing to mediocre (and this is low for the NT) takes a season. One position. Training a guys handling and passing from atrocious to mediocre takes 2 seasons. This is why I said in the past, we need coaches to train players with better starting stats, or we always will have players like Austin on the NT and not get out off the 40s in the world. You guys cant afford to loose 2 seasons off training on secondary skills.

You asked several times now for skill sets what NT players should look like. This is almost impossible to state, because you want a complete mix off different kind off skill sets. But for Centers you really want all guard skills at respectable or higher. For a PF the same, but with even higher OD, JS and JR. How higher the better for these skills.

I am afraid that the season I lost on Thom, will mean he will never play for the U21, but I do hope and will try my best to make him ready for the NT. But we do need 4 or 5 more bigs like him. At SF position we have 1 or 2 awesome prospects and we all have seen the NT players starters and their skills (dempsey and stanway) and that gives us a good indication at the level the guards need to be at. Saying that, these 2 players dont have any inside skills whatsoever and that is what we need for the future if we want to improve the NT in the world rankings...
