That is nothing compared to the capitalist conspiracy to keep all Soviets out of the No-Star-Game. 5th best record, top 10 rebounders, top 10 ratings, top 10 blocks, all mean nothing unless you slip some bribes to the voters.

It looks like the championship is also to be determined by your filthy free market. If Tilly sells for $1,000,000 then JW, Fish, Adam etc can pack up and wait for a new season.

Great effort JW!
Winning the first quarter against BLS and only losing by 20 odd with him putting in more effort is awesome.
Hopefully that'll give you confidence to go for it this season and take it out.
Should be a good finish to the season!!

Thanks Adam, though I think he played a weaker team against me... I also played my PF as SG to get him some training as well! So imagine if i actually put some effort and played my best team!! hahaah
Well I won't be making any big purchases this season, so will have to rely on this team to get me through! SmeltzTroops just bought a new SG as well, is he trying to scare us and give him an easy path back to ABBL or is he scared of us? hahaha

There are several strong teams that have impressed the people this season.

SmeltzTroopers will probably beat The Pwnage to be 1 finalist. Who will be the other 1? Melbourne Goldfish, JW City Bulls and adams guns have a good chance, CCCPBA (Aust. Div.) and The Players less.

Best wishes to all for a safe and merry festive season

Having already spent ime in II.2 & II.3, I have a bit of a gut feel that this might be the league that HA finishes up in next season

time 2 recap the all star weekend

Three Point Shot Competition

Congratulations to the Three Point Shot Competition winner, Xie Guanzheng from Melbourne Goldfish! Click here to view the results.

as it should be

& the all star game after all the debate about who should be in & who should start etc...

SG B. Ó Daire 28 4 - 11 1 - 2 0 - 2 0 0 4 0 1 0 0 9 14.0

yup that was odaire stinking up the court hogging time & producing just 9 points in 28 minutes

so who was the best player 4 the big 8?

SG X. Guanzheng 20 13 - 18 5 - 7 0 - 0 0 2 3 0 1 0 0 31 18.0

surprise

xie hit 31 pts in just 20 mins top scoring for the big 8 & just to throw it in had the best rating for anyone in the entire match

1 thing barry does know is defence, he & xie totally shut down the great8 sgs who had a combined 5/12 for 11 points in a monster 175-141 point game

Yeah, Barry is a passer and a defender, not a shooter (despite his huge PPG average), so I wasn't surprised to see him and Xie shut down the opposition.

Also, WTF. Why was Barry in the 3 point shoot-out? He has horrible JR.
