Regarding the forum, I'm happy for you to manage that...
yup. i am still thinking about doing that. Not so much 18 year olds but mostly 19 year olds. I would do this in the second season, not in the first one. I havent looked at all players yet, but I think there are quite a few players that are 19 and that are better than 20 year old players, or they will be alot better at 20 than the 20 year old one is now. I have had a look at the drafts for the EBBL for season 6.7.8. And like 10 players from the 144 players drafted are being trained... And when I say ten that is alot... :( Like you said yourself. A 19 year old player that is being trained is more valuable than a 20 year old player... Why not give the 19 year old player the experience for playing so we can use him when he is 20 or 21 than use a 20 year old player that isnt be trained and will be useless once he is 21???
Consider that your U21 will be NT player in one season (or well on the way to get there). Experience is negligible at best, useless is more like it.
I think it pays nothing to get young people in U21 unless they are the best in their category. I'd just follow their development and get the best players I have in my roster...
My 2 cents...
