right now I have an enthusiasm of 12

will it go down due to the all star break?

Your enthusiasm will move towards 5 over time irrespective of your team playing or not.

Yes it will, since your team won't be playing a game.

Also: Your enthusiasm won't be able to go back up to 12 again since you aren't getting a 3rd TIE game in the cup, and your enth will drop significantly. The All Star Break signifies the end of Part 1 and beginning of Part 2 in the season, so what you do (or not do) could hurt you for the 2nd half, and all teams will start on a more level playing field to begin the 2nd half.

I lost 82 - 84 to at team I probably would have destroyed if I had gone on normal. I took it easy in that game. I am way better than any team in my division. I've been trying to increase my enthusiasm in the past few games. So far, so good.

The game is not awful just because you lose a game against a weaker opponent.
This makes the game even more realistic. I mean every team has their off days. Look at the first game of the cup my team played, we lost badly to a bot team with really awful players. I was mad but than i saw that was one of those days where my team had an "off" day and that happens every time in basketball. Look at the bright side; you have a chance to win games against stronger opponents because they can underestimate you and have an off day.

It doesn't make the results completely random but it has a small random chance. I like it this way.
