I'm dropping out because I don't want to split the "pompous ass" vote with you.

Vote for JanItor!

Sounds like Janitor used his Mafia connections to pressure Stogey to drop out.

Sounds like a good challenge - I think the Dr. would be a great manager for the NT.

He has top level experience and proven ability.

How much do we have to pay him (hired gun)?

to my defense, I think I can say that everyone played exactly the way I figured they would be playing (except for switzerland in the last round robin), including the final with spain. now, did I do it all on my own? yeah, I'm that good and then some, but… it's just impossible. I had exceptional guys beside me, providing assistance and moral support in the final minutes before the game… "SO? WE SAID MAN TO MAN? ARE WE SURE? HOW ABOUT A FULL COURT PRESS? COME ON?" — you can plan the game as far in advance as you want, but the last five minutes will always be like that.

Yeah, but how much help do you really need when you play LI/M2M in every single game that matters? That you won is more a testament to the incredible roster talent Italy has than to any brilliant managerial decision making.

Your club team isn't really much different... you've played outside offenses in 40 league games over the past 2 seasons, and man defense *47* times.

It's one thing to be predictable when you have the players to overcome it, but that's not going to be the case with the US.
