Can you tell me the player that popped and the games (as in the dates of the games he played in) between the experience pops?

I don't need to be careful posting anything. Why would I lie about something like this? Gameshape really? have you ever had a player with attrocious gameshape? Maybe its possible I have never had one like that. I know the difference between gameshape and experience. It is what it is...believe what you want to believe.


For what it's worth, I have seen players with atrocious gameshape very late in the season. However, atrocious gameshape while receiving regular playing time is a ridiculous notion -- certainly more far-fetched than two pops in experience relatively close together.

Has anyone better determined what experience actually contributes to a player's skill set? I remember reading something a while back that mentioned the player knowing how to "make the right move" whether that be passing to the open shooter or driving, etc. Seems pretty vague and I'm not even sure if that was correct... anyone have a more concise definition yet?

Mahody: you know I like you a lot. But... I have to add my voice to the majority here. I have never seen anything like this in my many seasons. And for as long as I can remember I have been using a tracking program to watch my pops (not Excel, where you can easily make typos).

I will put myself into the camp of: I am not saying it is impossible. But it seems pretty darn unlikely, when so many experienced managers have not seen anything similar. That is, unless it takes some rare and particular scenarios to reproduce it. ;-)
