Only idea I have for you is to lower your ticket prices a little bit. Mine a little bit lower than yours, and I've sold out every game so far this season. We have the same record, so that is really the only thing that would make sense.

I am making the same in MERCHANDISING as i was in D3 last season. And the exact same in attendance and revenue from my last season in D3, even though my arena is nearly 15% larger. My prices are all the same or around 10% higher than what they were in D3. Doesnt seem right, but o well. I have probably been hurt pretty bad in the pocketbook for being auto promoted. Doesnt seem too realistic.

While lowering my ticket prices would certainly get me more crowd, I doubt that would in any way improve my revenues. Besides, as I have already said, I have been doing just fine with this exact prices back in Div. 3. I only raised price for my bleachers, which by the way, you sell out on regular basis at the exact same price.
The fact that we hold the same record just proves further more that there is no structure in this game, and that everything in BB is more or less random. Fantastic. And if you try to seek some kind of help in regards to that, BB either ignore you or ridicule you and label you as whiner.
By the way, how many hours is that our training update runs late this Friday?

I remember someone telling me that auto promotion is not as good as winning the championship because you do not get the boost in season ticket holders, and not as good of fan survey. My first season in D2, after winning D3 championship, I was able to have higher ticket prices and bring in much more revenue then I am now, basically off the strength of the fan survey.

After that its the same stuff, you want good attendance you have to win road games, TV, and rivalry, which is really frustrating because its really hard to win road games when you are a good but not great D2 team. Most of the time you need to make sure you win your home games and build enthusiasm, so on the road you need to TIE vs the home team going Normal...which has happened to me 3 times this season, all 3 losses, and after those 3 games I got poor attendance at the following home game. HCA+effort differential is basically a 20 point advantage IMO, and that's tough to overcome.

Also this season we didn't get an NBBA team demoting into our league like we usually do, so the league is not as strong as it has been in past seasons, which may affect the merchandising.

This is the part that I think needs to be reevaluated by the BBs. The HCA is too great. Period. If i dont catch a road team TIEing while I normal or some other like situation, i dont have a chance in hell of winning, even against slightly inferior teams or superior teams running bad tactics.

Oh, I understand that there is a lot of components to this and that two seemingly identical things don't have necessarily to have much in common, but still, none of that explains how could I have a bigger attendance in a lower division than here. Div. 2 should attract more fans than Div. 3. Period.

In a real world setting, I suppose that would be true. However, losing in two straight games in your League III finals probably did not help your attendance at all going into this season. I think that is probably the difference maker between our two teams as far as attendance goes.

It might be the difference between our two teams, but I still see no sense in the fact that I have been drawing more fans in lower division than I do here. And quiet frankly, I don't understand why everyone keep skipping that part of my argument.
