I got quite scared in the first quarter when three of my starters got a foul on your first possession and prayed that it wouldn't be a sign of things to come. Thankfully, it wasn't! Well your 1-3-1 is limiting him to 19 points, that's a better pace than the 54 he laid on you last time :D

I guess my 2-3 zone defense works well against your offense.

Congratulations. I think my dominance is finally over.

At least I kept J-P under 50 this time.

By the way, nice use of crunch time.

thanks! but now my enthusiasm is shot, got two league games to rebuild it.

Now I guess I would have to improve my inside scoring, being this one-sided really isn't healthy.

Results are in:

Only one home team won tonight, interesting!

Two div I teams and two div.II teams. It will be interesting to see the matchups.

The Montréal Rockets finally make it past their dreaded quarter-finals match, after losing in that round in the previous two seasons. Last year's cup champion also make it through.

If the game engine changes went into effect, the changes were minimal at best... Laviolette only shot 4-12 from outside and my team a dismal 8-26. I guess Torooo's outside defense is good enough to affect my shooters.

That was literally a nail-biter for me. Looks like you're next.

I didn't get a chance to actually watch the game, sadly. Looks like a good one, though.

Not looking good for me... I'm guessing you CT'd again, based on the big, big rebounding edge so far... 9-1 offensive rebounds as I type. I was holding Laviolette in check for a while, but he's heating up as is everyone else on your team.

LaViolette always starts slow, but he always comes to play. He will be at 50 in no time.

On the positive side of things, I have to head out for the second half... doesn't look like I have to worry myself with how things are going to turn out.

well, 2 minutes left, and looks like your comeback will be complete...

and, no, I only played normal, my enthusiasm was already in the crapper from last week, didn't want to ruin the league any more than it already is.

edit: well, after a few stressful final moments, the rockets held on to win a close game. So Cup Finals: Rockets vs Devils Advocate. Good luck mate.
