people, I think most people overestimate the effect of crosstraining. Even when there is the expectation of one pop per player and training, which is not reasonable in many trainings such as rebounds and pd, and we are talking about 10% of the training value.

Which means, thought the other way around, we are about to see a random pop about one time in 10 weeks, but with a huge variance, because the subs have a strong effect here and its like to have the cross training in a slowly training field for the player (e.g. when there is center training, it will likely be something as pd, which is slow for tall players)

So everybody should slow down and stop expecting a huge amount of pops from crosstraining. Be happy when you see something unexpected, but don't get too used to it.

They are actually talking about primary training slowing down and not about cross-training not being there. So if you have been training OD, you had 1 pop/2 weeks and now you have something like 1 pop/2.5 weeks. At least that's the argument.

I haven't seen a slow down yet though. I'm training JR for 4 weeks now and my main trainee (Polh) popped every 2nd week regularly. He should pop this week also. If he doesn't, no biggie, as I know JR is among the slowest trainings and for me, lack of pop will not be evidence of slowing down of training.

I notice you did a lot of guard training in season 16, and a lot of inside training so far this season. May I ask what the height of your trainees are?

It's definitely a bit slower but I've gotten a couple weird pops, one in DRV when I trained JR and one in Free Throws when I trained Pressure.

It is annoying that the primaries are slower but if all of you guys have to deal with the same issues it can't hurt me (or anyone else) that much really.
