1. i just like to add, that we don't get paid and do it in the spare time. And there are lot of other arguments of it, which will affect the usability of the forum in future. And at least speaking for me, i don't like to work for such thing in my spare time.

2. or thinking first about an title before, such cases like you mention are more then rare without that it makes sense to open a new thread instead.

3. it will flood the new thread showed on the left, so it affects search.

Like I said over and over (and over) - With this suggestion there will be two links with different names.
Without it there will be two different threads. Each with a different name. => Two names...
So, there is no difference on the work needed here.

2. or thinking first about an title before, such cases like you mention are more then rare without that it makes sense to open a new thread instead.
Enhancing a topic is something that cannot be solved by "thinking of the name first".
A name change that had not enhanced the content, could just be removed.

3. it will flood the new thread showed on the left, so it affects search.

As you said, a need for changing a thread's name is rare, so flooding will not happen.
As I said, you can just display the thread's name a user last saw, and not the other.

Blowing up database operations again for no real gain?

You don't really seem to understand the consequences of this suggestion. You seldom seem to even understand your own suggestions. So if we would allow the thread name change - the thread get's changed by user, get's changed by GM, user can then again change it. The loop continues. There is absolutely no need of this. For gods sake, this guy needs a cooloff from forums. Atleast a warning would be long overdue.

I've tried to explain it to you slower, so you could understand it faster, and it didn't helped...
I'll just let it be.

the need yes, but people will use it to correct typo, or change suboptional thread names. If a thread really need renaming, we already could judge about it. When it only happens when gm want, we have it already.
