I just noticed you recently bought Chiezzi-Porrini, I've wanted to buy him for a looooong time, but it was never meant to be between us...good purchase!

He's a magnificent player; a luxury guard. I was going to get him for 650k but then the owner bid with .0000001 seconds left in the auction, and so I bid again and Rocket Science, in a final, impassioned war on the NBBA, out of nowhere parachuted down and initiated a massive bidding war against me.

Assuming you're a big David Foster Wallace fan? (from the username) Kept meaning to read Infinite Jest, but never got around to it yet...

you should get around to it ASAP

{commissioner reading}

With the 29th pick in the NBBA draft, the Milwaukee Lethargy select David Tinsley, 6'0" $5.1k MVP... from large gap between nose & mouth university.

{polite applause}

Wow, he deserves more than a polite applause now after going for 700k. Nicely done.

no... I really wanted him... but with my crazy attendance now (less than what I got even in div III), I am glad I did not get him, nor any US NT player. I think this will probably be my last season... I'll just bleed the treasury to zero and see how that goes. :)

I kind of wish my team was in Div. V. Finish in last each season, and since it's unlikely that another team scouts, you could maybe get the two best players from each draft. Use all your money for a world-renowned trainer. A team makes so much money by having a drafted NT player; imagine having a starting five of them. If you're thinking about quitting you should do something crazy and exciting like that.
