Harper needs to list his players at a more reasonable price so they will be sold in time for him to play me. This is very important. Let's all help him remember to start off the bid at 1,000.

No no no. You need to buy my players for the price listed, then ban us both for an attempt to transfer money between accounts ;)

I'm hoping you both understand the gravity of this situation. You will both need to CT this game and possibly sell your entire roster. For motivation, you may need to watch some Bubble Pop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw9CALKOvAI

Not surprising. With 49,275 teams and us only being in season 20, the odds are stacked against you.

Injuries suck, and I don't think they add anything to the game. People may like injuries because it adds an element of randomness, or it strengthens the need for depth, or whatever, but I couldn't disagree more. To be competitive at our level, the weekly budget has to be very near the weekly income, and losing a chunk of talent for a couple of weeks can be devastating to the entire season. I might be persuaded to accept in-game injuries, but losing players for multiple games is ridiculous.

Well I don't think injuries should be completely removed, but the lengths of them are pretty excessive. In the NBA a 4 week injury is less than 1/6th of a (82 game) season. In BB a 4 week is 1/3 of the season and possibly longer. Now I realize a high level doctor can help reduce that, and in the NBA players can have longer injuries, even season ending. But there are only 22 games in a BB season, so like you said having a top player or two out for an extended period of time can really hurt your season. It's simply not fun beating a team easily when they didn't have their best player(s). And we all know just how fun it is to be on the receiving end of that.

I'm a jerk sometimes...but I would rather beat Rambo AND injure his best player for 4 weeks at the same time. I just don't want my guys to get injured because I get depressed and whiney.

My C/PF, Turovas, has now fouled out of 5 of the 6 league games this season, and he's averaging 5.8 fouls a game. It's a strange change for him. He's always averaged 3 or so fouls per game, but before this season, he had only fouled out 5 times in the previous two seasons. Maybe it's because he's played more PF this season, and he's guarding better outside shooters? Whatever it is, it's driving me crazy.

Why are you regular Dawson and not GM-Dawson?
Have you become an ordinary civilian now?
