I saw a Big recently with good defensive skills and 16 JS and only 10 IS on the TL. It was an interesting build that I kind of liked and went to grab him off the TL but didn't quite have enough money. Going off of that and your opinion, what would you think about this:

17/8/11/18/18/11 - 14/18/16/11

I think this is a versatile forward that can play just about any offense as well.

ALSO: Just noticed you are LA now instead of GM. What is the difference exactly if you don't mind me asking? I'm not very familiar with the LA term.

I don't understand why everyone wants to push DR (and HA with that) so high.
Is it because it trains fast and is cheap or do you really see an added value?

I think I'd rather have more jump range and passing because I think that will help exploiting defense weaknesses better than pure driving.

I have a mixed experience with high DR on a big.

I once had a PF who looked (more or less) like the following:

9 7
5 13
15 6
14 14
16 13

A quite decent player overall, but I didn't feel like the relatively high amount of driving did help him score.
He was always below .500, mainly in the low .400 (in Germany's Div. 2).
Although he had no problem to get a shot off, he didn't seem to get the ball into the basket.

Probably because of the 9 JS and 6 PAS. 9 JS means that he won't hit a lot of jumpers and 6 PAS means that he won't pass the ball out of trouble and will take a lot of contested shots, so I think it has more to do with that, than anything else.
