Must disagree in full, it would have been a wank because he matched up well inside, and the goal of LI and LP is to jam it in the paint https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4a8wqmyyFJw

but I know where you are heading, here is the match up I went that route with (85577680)

To me the key problem of outside offences is the penalty to team rebounding. In outside offences not only you miss more, but also you rebound fewer of those misses. If they removed the penalties to rebounding compared to inside offences it would be already a significant improvement.

In my opinion we will see many players trained as PGs playing the PF or SF, maybe even C position in the near future, as the (PG) salary formula can be exploited to a certain degree.

That will be pretty interesting to watch.

Can you explain what you mean by exploiting the salary formula? I ask not to criticize but because I don't fully understand what the differences in the formulas are.

I trained some JR players in Utopia. My SF Ettig is my best scorer. He has 50%+ 3pts and a little bit under 60% FG. I'm pretty sure he would score 40-45% of his threes in D2. And it doesn't matter if I play an outside or inside offense, he will still be the main threat because of his skillset. And I think if I had better passing at the other players, he would get even more better shots.

How high did you end up getting his JR up to?

I'm currently in the beginning stages of some exceptionally non-standard builds for my three trainees, so in a couple of years time maybe I'll have half the reputation you do for your unusual builds (though mine will almost certainly be very expensive and relatively useless, I figured I wanted to try something off the wall).

The position BuzzerBeater classifies your player doesnt have any impact in game performance, but it does affect the salary that your player is assigned at the beginning of the season. Each position's salary formula places different weights on different skills. If you train in a certain way you can get your players to be classified at a certain position to cost less salary.
