2 teams are matched up against div III clubs in the first round of the cup. Brutal. The only blemishes on last season were me getting beat by SVJ, my hated, absolutely loathed and despised rival; and getting knocked out of round 4 by a single point. I like the random seeding bit of this game; who knows what would have happened if I'd won that game? Maybe the red sea would have parted, I'd maybe have gotten two bot teams then pulled off an upset in round 7?
Rogues made it to round 8 last season, best in the league, but has a dogfight right out of the gate. And really, if you're on the red side and get KO'd in round 1 (I'm looking at you, Ballus Maximus), it could be a very long year. The only ray of sunshine is the fact that if you can manage to finish sixth or seventh, THE BLUE SIDE COMPLETELY SUCKS! FINISHING SIXTH THERE IS LIKE FINISHING THIRD IN THE FIFTH DIVISION! IT'S LIKE BEATING UP THE HANDICAPPED KID AND STEALING HIS "PARTICIPANT" RIBBON!!!
