In the very small ones, yes. And they have less active players. That will be the div that has the newcomers or the bots or the ones that really won't ever go anywhere.

It's relative.

Though money it's not, that's why the economy is broken, that's what you miss in previous replies. Div III in small ones should get almost as Div V in big ones

That successfully argues against one of my points. Well done. You can cherry pick if you like. So who's worse off, smaller or larger nations?

My original point is that with the new fan base system, there is no point to have a funds cap. No one has explained, with evidence, why the funds cap is still necessary.

uh, this is absurd. players shouldn't cap at 25, i'd go so far as to say the slow down in training at that age should be alleviated somewhat. in general, players hit their primes in their early to mid 30s.

Prime in the early to mid 30ies? Most players reach their prome at the age of 25-27, and start declining from then. Most 35 year olds should be out of the league

At a global level the bigger your community the harder is to put a strong team together. At a national level newcomers face an almost impossible mission.

Awesome. Thank you. This makes a lot of sense. Larger nations are more competitive and therefore more difficult to succeed in. I guess the relativity to that is that there are more people, it's more "fun", and there are more to learn from, more examples to follow etc. But I see the point.

You can hoard and win

Hoarding? Or is it building assets? The slant on words is used for influence... "Building assets" is a very common phenomena in competition. In fact, a lot of people can build assets while competing. Is this to be punished?

Knecht is right on that one: around 30 yo, sometimes earlier, NBA players start to decline athletically. After that some age better than others depending on their game. People like Gerald Wallace or Josh Smith or even Deng become very useless very quickly once they start to decline physically. People like JJ Redick, Ryan Anderson most playmakers will last longer because their game is more based on skill than athleticism.
