Nice job.

Looking strictly from the profit standpoint, you are right. But what is missed to mention here is that with higher lvl arena you get higher income per week, which increases your salary floor for players/staff untill taxes, or lowers the taxes you pay. Which might be even more benefitial. Especially in lower leagues, it might mean 1 solid backup salary or even starter accomodated, which might lead to promotion or atleast more games won and more money from attendance. The indirect impact is not counted, and it is pretty huge up to DIV II i think. So this effect in my eyes makes 4m arena worth one to save up for.

I agree. Investing in an arena upgrade isn't about turning a profit. Its about the additional weekly income for players, staff, or structures such as the gym or training court.

Can't you use hard cold cash to pay the salary of those players? 4 million is a lot of money.

When I bought the 4 million arena my thought was to use the extra 22-25k a week boost in merchandising to pay for the 5k a week maintenance on the infrastructures. With the level 1 merchandising store, that is in theory an extra 30k a week to spend on 6 levels of the infrastructures. So I have a level 3 gym and training court.

Not saying its right, but its the way I went about it.

Do you know how much is the improvement in stamina when you train it with and without nutrionist?

I have nutrionist level 3, I trained 1 week stamina and 12 of the 14 players (I had that week) popped up in stamina. I was expecting 7-8 because I thought tht it was around 0.5 per week.

How much does stamina grow with a training without nutrionist? Did you study how much does it grow also with nutrionist at different levelss (I think that 14 players, one week is not much for a study)?

Arena: it grants an increase to the weekly merchandising income.
- 200k upgrade = from +3k to +7k per week
- 500k upgrade = from +5k to +13k per week
- 1M upgrade = from +12k to +15k per week
- 2M upgrade = supposedly from +15k to +22k per week
- 4M upgrade = from +22k to +26k per week (this means it would take 160 weeks at best to repay the cost, thus more than 3 years in real life).

TV&Radio Station: it should grant an increase in the weekly merchandising incomes as well as soften the decrease of fans attendance to your arena after a lost match. However, it’s hard to define the practical effect on this two aspects of the game, since there is a lot of unpredictability. Not enough data available on its effectiveness.
As of now, the only effect seems to be an increase of +3% of the season ticket sales with the level 2. However removing the structure didn’t take away that bonus, so maybe that’s not an answer too.

Merchandise Store: it grants an increase to the weekly merchandising income.
- Level 1 = +10k per week
- Level 2 = +15k per week
- Level 3 = +20k per week
Unfortunately, this means that the net profit (excluding the weekly maintenance cost) is always 5k, regardless of the level of the structure. Until further data is available, it would be better to avoid the level 2 and 3 ones, since the only benefit would be a reduction of the overextension tax.


Is this still correct? I would like to know if level 3 merchandise store and TV&radio station are the best longterm investments.

Cannot say anything about tv station.

Isn't it strange that a level 3 merchandise store doesn't give the most profit? On the other hand BB is a strange game so I'm not surprised.

Not really.

You get 5k proffit +additional 'cap space' from which you dont pay luxury taxes. In lower leagues div IV and III might be very benefitial. In higher ones its barely some change money.

Thanks for the info. I now have a level 3 merchandise store and a level 3 tv&radio station. That's why a chose a level 2 PR-manager because he seems not useful because of these buildings. Is that correct?
