I've always thought of it as:

1) In team practices there are full-team scrimmages, a holistic approach that allows players to practice every skill to a small extent, although improvements are unpredictable, just as in real life

2) Players improve mentally just by taking part in or observing an isolated drill, regardless of the skill being practiced

Interesting time for a tank job. Figured the road win for the attendance bank was more valuable? (And, btw, how stupid is it that the game engine is set up to encourage that?)

Yeah, it's odd that you have far better attendance by winning all road games and losing all home games than the other way around. They should be at least even, right?

Good game btw. I gambled and lost, sort of.

Kinda mad that it had to be a TV game, but yeah. And not to nitpick, but it's not really the game engine at fault, it's the fan survey, but whatever.

And my scrubs did a pretty good job for two quarters against the top Great 8 team if I do say so myself. And I just did. Out loud. To an empty room. (The dog is looking at me funny, you guys.)

I've long thought that the Fan Survey needs a rework. It can be way too harsh. Or at least add in another "special" game like the Rival and TV games to give you more opportunity to lessen the ridiculous penalty from losing the Away game.

We could likely discuss the fan survey all day, and I'd imagine we'd be in perfect accord on the changes needed. The problem is coding it to make it work fairly in all divisions in all countries, for both newly promoted and firmly entrenched; to penalize tankers while not being too harsh on young teams who lack funds, etc...

To me the "simplest" solution would be to create some sort of expectations variable that accounts for home/away and the relative strengths of the team, so if you lose an away game at the best team in the league, you don't take much of a hit-- but if you lose a home game to the scrub team while you are the best team in the league, then you get hammered. If feels like a loss is a loss as far as attendance is concerned, doesn't make any difference home or away or who you lost to...

Excepting, of course, that the team rank is pretty universally regarded as crap...

Maybe an average of the teams BBstats for the season instead of World/Country rank?
