That's not entirely correct because a high percentage of those ppl listed probably did not even look at the draft let alone change their draft list. Therefore if everyone put money into scouting and followed that process, you would probably find the average of ppl getting their no.1 pick reduced.

And on a side note I have done the same, keeping all 3 of my nobs purely for their low salaries, youth and nationality (for mechandise). One of them was actually half ok, except he was a 6'5", C with no inside skills.

After I defeat All Sorts tonight, I will be in 7th. I would recommend that 6th place drops to 7th or climbs to 5th as I do not intend on demoting this season (probably will next season though).

I hope I beat All Sorts tonight, otherwise I have to buy up earlier than hoped.

Its not entreily correct no. But how many times does an entire league or even half a league scout lots in the draft? I think a previous post I said in the past 5 seasons the worst preference that someone got in the first round was their 7th preference? Something like that.

Im looking at doing some analysis of draftee's Box Score vs draftee's Stats, to determine if there are patterns for relevance of the box score in the draft.
Basically what I would need, is for everyone who is scouting this season to take a screen cap/make note of any box scores that they know of (or best they can).... and then after the draft, make note/screen cap of the stats of the players that they drafted (and obviously marry them up to the relevent box score).
Then after the draft, if they are willing to part with their beloved draftee's stats (ie: if ya gonna sell him!) then send me the info and im going to collate it.

Im going to ask all the Div II forums for the same, so hopefully I will get, maybe, 50 draftee's box score and stats? and go from there. Maybe cast the net wider.

So if you could let me know that ur going to do it that would be great.

The easy way (IMO) would basically be to take screen caps of your top 5 preferenced draftee's, you will probably defiantely draft one of them and then u can send me the stats (only if u want to. if u wanna keep him and keep his stats secret, thats cool). doesn't matter if you only end up with 2 scores and result or even just 1. thats fine.

I have no problem with guys doing what they have to do to stay up, but the fact that the game even allows it with no penalty is ridiculous.
