I would have cried if i lost after buying Succhi. My backup C who was playing PG because my starter fouled out hit a buzzer beater to win it.

Its all pretty interestingly set up in the big 8 this season from here with 6 games left. Me and Baxter *should* make the playoffs from here being 2 games and PD clear, but any of the next 4 teams could make the playoffs, or end up in a relegation series (which could be a tough one if Slam has a bit of cash to splash around). Still lots to play for.

Pretty impressive effort by Bell Park to. I thought he was done and dusted not long ago, but he's pulled himself off the canvas to be a shot at making the playoffs.

And at the other end we've got a pretty interesting battle between Aussie and Glenelg. Either could feel pretty hard done by to get auto relegated - think its been a while since a team with 6+ has has been auto relegated (if ever).

I can't recall a tighter season in the big 8.

yeah I think the low cost of acquiring a player from the TL has contributed to tightness of the big 8.

That 1 mil promotion money can go a long way now compared to several seasons ago when players cost a lot more to purchase.

I reckon next season's crop of div2 promotees would be even more competitive.

Right now whitebeard looks to be the form team and is a good chance at taking out the double as well.

I can't believe I lost that match after I was leading most of the game. Definitely lacking scorers when Duffman got in foul trouble.

Six wins in the Great 8, certainly puts you in better shape than having the same amount of wins in the Big 8

LOL that also reflects on the team salary as well. With all the big 8 teams at the bottom of the list except for whitebeard.
The bottom four teams in the big 8 are definitely in tanking mode. Maybe they are tanking for some good rookies this season? Hopefully a Bowman or a Neale pops up.

if that is what they are doing then boy are they going to be disappointed based on the last few seasons. (and I think you have your 'big' and 'great' mixed up there koop)

Maybe I should tank next season and drop back to div 2 in the hope of coming back in to the easy 8 ... sorry, meant 'great' 8 ;)
