An assumption is something that you assume to be the case, even without proof.

As I said in another thread, there's at least some evidence in the news announcement, which is enough for an intelligent hypothesis.

Last season the mid-season post was a week after the all-star games. This season the pre-season post showed up after the first games of the season. I'm hopefully we get clarity soon but the recent track record isn't promising.

i'll just point you in the right direction: (284507.4). so i'm well within my right to refer to wild assumptions that are being made by some users, which lead to panic for other users.

We all saw what happened with the Utopia promotion money, as we are suffering from the aftershocks right now. Imagine what happens when you expand this system to the WHOLE economy instead of just a 1k team nation. So instead of calling it a "wild assumption", I'd rather say its a VERY educated guess of what will happen. We are talking about additional BILLIONS that will flood the market, in a shrinking environment with the dryest transfer market for quality players in AGES.

Yes indeed. I expect a thank you for pointing out how horrible it was previously. Really I don't, especially when I follow up.

Still no mention of whether the extra promoted team gets a bonus, despite me asking several times in several threads for clarity.

The other day I went through the number of countries and leagues that this will effect. Unfortunately I've deleted my working out, but if anyone is willing to believe me, the new adjustment with only one extra team demoted will mean $250m extra in the economy every season.

Do the BBs believe that will be covered by the salary changes as EGM-Foto suggested? We were originally told they thought some salaries would go up and some would go down and so this would be neutral? Has this changed?

Well done for the draft changes. People have called for changes ever since I started in season 16. Hopefully we see a change to training by about season 55.

Cannot voice loud enough how disappointed I am with the salary news. Something so simple was butchered.

1) Well rounded bigs are punished. I guess you want primary skill donkeys again huh.

2) You punish good trainers who spent YEARS playing people out of position to make a well rounded player (losing many league games in the process)

3) Failure to equalize salary vs skill effectiveness LI vs outside tactics. Don't see the problem with just raising salary on IS (specifically on PG and SG) and perhaps lowering salary on JR (specifically on PG and SG). But noooooooooo. Sounds like to raise IS on guards you want to raise JS JR OD PA on bigs? Not cool.
