A mutual TIE would be in their best interest should they both want certainty of another season in the ABBL. But can they trust each other?

Isnt collaboration or match fixing something that should be reported to the GM (who suggested a mutual TIE)

You wouldn't want to hurt Whompa everyone loves him

Well if he wins against Urmummas I wont be a Ogre cause I cant hurt the nice Donkey

Well that was a different circumstance.

I believe you are referring to season 20 in the last league game between me and abigfishy? (46263208).
I remember vividly that chumunga was on salary floor all season and then bought up a crazy team just before the relegation series that neither me nor abigfishy could beat. TIE, Normal or CT, it didnt matter cos we were always going to lose to chumunga, even with the HCA in our advantage.

So why not just CT and hope for the best. abigfishy had HCA in that deciding game against me and still lost... by a slim margin I might add. Needless to say he was kicked out of the ABBL that season =P

This time round, sid vicious would not have such a crazy team as chumunga did.
1. cos if he buys up this week and trains gameshape, best he can wish for is average or strong gameshape leading up to the relegation series.
2. he spent most of his money a few seasons ago trying to beat akuma.

hahah there is no evidence of collaboration.

As far as all the GM's can see.. it'll be "Both teams played at the same effort level."

Ive spent most of this season on or just above the salary floor and have a bigger stash than what I did before the Akuma war

Come a relegation series I might even opt to shuffle the team around a bit and not play a trainee for 48 minutes as the PG

You forget one thing Koops - and that is that Sid is the biggest bulldust artist going around. I can say its almost a guarantee that he didnt spend 'most' of his dough in the akuma war. Like most people who have tanked or 'laid low' for a season or two, or three or - even the season where Sid won Div II, nobody really challanged him and he was able to get away with a fairly 'light' salaried roster in that entire season. $75k-$100k profit a week for a winning season in Div II is probably what he was earning.

So yer, do not believe that he doesn't have the $$ to challange. He does. He always has.

If he doesn't and loses relegation welllll, dont you worry, he will just come out with a statement that says that was his grand master plan all along.
Ahhhhh i know him too well... he is like the wife i never had.

in other news, hows Pancakes and Whitebeard for a set of auto-relegators this season from the ABBL. Probably the biggest two names being relegated from ABBL in one season surely? If BLS lose their series as well, then that would definately have to be the biggest set of names relegated in one season.

I dont tell lies but it is true sometimes I do encourage opponents to think the wrong thing.

I can say its almost a guarantee that he didnt spend 'most' of his dough in the akuma war.

I wish that was true

Ive repeatedly stated right along that I expect to relegate and then bounce straight back

Got me worried

I thought you had repeatedly stated that your main focus was the training of your trainees? :p

Yes that is indeed big news, two of the greats in the game content in just training and putting it on auto pilot for the time being.
