Do you or anyone else know if they are tweaking the end game logic any more? It seems ridiculous for 10-12 possessions to take place with a minute remaining. Teams are fouling too quickly (within a second almost every time), and also getting off good shots within 2-4 seconds sometimes.

Charles mentioned somewhere in the Bugs thread about the end-of-game logic that the would be going over it again and making modifications if they felt something was out of line.

End-of-game logic...was going to say, end game logic is probably something inappropriate for basketball.

Eh, I was fairly certain, but I figured it would be better to clear things up just in case there was any doubt.

In any case, the points margin is so big that I don't think there's anyway I can close it this late.

No offense, but I doubt it would have mattered. I don't think the 7th place team in the Great 8 will beat the 6th place team in the Big 8 no matter who finishes 6th or 7th.

I agree, but the 7th place Great 8 still gets a 200-400K bonus just by playing 2-3 games.

I also think Yjet has an easier (not too easy though) remaining schedule than 1986 does. However, the only reason Yjet probably won was because he CT'd.

Anyway, whatever! The fact that there are 4 Big-8 teams fighting for 2 playoffs spots and 4 Great-8 teams fighting for 3 playoff spots with two games left is hella exciting!
