The word is the Lakers are far from finished. They are still looking for a SF some have suggested Grant Hill would fit their team very well. Reports of Bynum for Howard. Reports of Gasol for anyone. Could still be a whole lot going down only guys I'm certain will be in a Lakers uniform next season are Bryant and Nash.

For some reason, I don't reckon the Magic will allow Howard to go to the Lakers. But then the Lakers will probably pay most for him...

I wonder what the Spurs are gonna do................ zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Is anyone else sick of these super teams, or is it just me?

Nash is a great pick up for the Lakers, but as a basketball fan I just hate it. I would loved to have seen him go to a smaller market team and made them interesting to watch. Going home to Canada and seeing him play for Toronto would've been cool. Even going back to the Mavs would've been interesting, but ending up at the Lakers just seems like it's 'same old, same old' every year, just with different players.

Same with Ray Allen going to the Heat, as a basketball fan it's the least interesting of all of the possibilities. Seeing him play in Minnosota or Memphis would've been fun. Going to the Heat is just boring. I hope when Howard leaves he doesn't end up at the Lakers as well - that would surely be the worst move from a fan point of view, as we'll be subjected to 5+ years of Lakers v Heat and not much else.

Jason Terry to Boston is interesting. Joe Johnson to the Nets is interesting. (I'd be happy to see Howard end up there.) Anthony and Stoudemire at the Knicks is interesting (whether they play well together is another story).

The articles I'm reading seem to indicate the Hornets and Blazers are going to match the offers for Gordon and Batum, so I guess we'll wait and see what happens there.

By far the most exciting thing would be Dwight to the Nets, then to see him, Deron and JJ together would be just fantastic and what a boost for the newish franchise. He hasn't made the best PR moves recently must have the same advisor as LEeron but to create out of nothing another team that can challenge the Lakers, Celtics, Thunder, Heat, Spurs and Bulls would be brilliant.

Does anyone else wonder just what Dallas is thinking?

Anthony and Stoudemire have been at the Knicks this whole past season. Anthony has had some injuries and Stoudemire lost his brother so they both had time off-court.

and they both played by far their best when the other one wasn't around and really the team was at it's most exciting when neither was playing. Both are obviously great offensive talents but one way players who are ball hogs and demotivate their team mates just aren't what I would like to build a team around even if they are top 20 scorers in the entire NBA.

Tyson Chandler, Landry Fields, Jeremy Lin and Iman Shumpert. There is an exciting (and VERY cheap) core I would love to see them build around. Just imagine they could somehow turn Anthony and Stoudemire into Dwight Howard, how would that team be? Trouble is the other GMs know about Anthony and Stoudemire and they are very hard to move as well as it would be very hard to admit they got it wrong.

'cept Fields is signing with the raptors and Lin with the Rockets unless the knicks match both offers (both are RFA's)
